@Slowgod: I really like the Walls -- I don't think I'd want to play more than 2 though. There are some matchups where it's not great, obviously. But there are plenty of matchups where it shines, and it's awesome in conjunction with planeswalkers.
My previous post was a bit deceptive, I now realize, since I hadn't cut Serum Visions altogether. I'm running 3 Opt, 2 Visions. It's awesome -- just crushed it on MTGO with the list I posted.
I have been going consistent 4-1 with my Crucible of Worlds main the last few nights. I've changed 1 or 2 cards here and there, but relatively the same. Really close to 5-0 in all of those leagues. I beat Valakut 2/3 times, Burn 6-1, affinity 4-0, Mirror 2-0, DS 4-0. etc. I'm really liking Shadow of Doubt It was amazing to use it in response to a Titan being cast and then path the titan and they get obviously 0 lands instead of 3, and the "counter target scapeshift, draw a card" is nice too. I still side the Crucible out a lot against something like Burn and haven't really had an issue.
I'm getting close to having won enough tickets to buy surgicals which will probably replace the RIP and maybe 2nd dispel or cage. I opened a lot more treasure chests than I should have, but most were actually pretty good.
Edit: I won a game/match just now against a turn 3 emrakul, the promised end. Also won after being hit with a Nahiri ult-ed Aeons torn the other day too
I really like the look of this build -- the only change I'll make is cutting one Shadow of Doubt for the 25th land. Looking forward to taking it for a spin.
Would someone be so kind as to post a cutting edge, successful GB Elves list? Would love to see what's currently the best version of the deck. Thank you!
Here's my current list for reference: http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/03-04-17-lxJ-uw-control/
