I'll try to help as I can, but I don't have the most time of all people.
It's actually tough to find information on the deck. I have a friend who has communicated with Thien Nyugen in the past and skyped/played against him. I talked with him very briefly at GP Vegas too, but not enough to get a huge grasp on the deck. He did tell me a line that I didn't consider in the game he watched me play (which I feel was the #1 game decided by play skill in my tournament). So, he definitely knows how to play this deck.
I agree and it seems like its because Scapeshift doesn't outright beat Shadow. Decks like Tron and Storm get videos regularly because they have good match-ups against DS. Or maybe its because there are a lot of RUG Shift videos out there?
With the mom and pop lists running around, has Huntmaster ever been a consideration? Or is the extra body plus reach more important? I'm just wondering because life gain plus being a pact target seems relevant to me.

Google translate works just fine.
