I understand that Blood Sun will work retroactively for lands on the field and will change lands as they enter. Let's say I have Teferi's Isle on the field. I play Blood Sun while Teferi's Isle is phased out, when it is phased back in, does Blood Sun retroactively affect it although it never ETB?
I would think it loses phasing but I'm starting to second guess myself and would like confirmation.
On November 30, 2017 an article was posted on the official site about stack interaction. There was a section I found misleading or confusing and was hoping someone could explain. I will copy and paste the section here and post a link to the original article at the end of my post. FYI, this section is specifically about responding to your own spells.
"Let's say you cast Sacred Mesa and have six mana left. But you're worried your opponent might have a card that you can't respond to because of its split second ability: Krosan Grip.
Well, you can activate the Mesa's ability in response to itself before your opponent ever gets the chance to respond! You're then guaranteed three Pegasus tokens even if they do have the Grip."
I know in order to active the ability of a permanent, such as Sacred Mesa, it needs to be on the field. How would one activate it's ability in response to itself while it is still on the stack?
If I damage my opponent with an attacking creature while they have Vengeful Pharoh in the graveyard, could I change the target of Pharoh's ability to Spellskite even if Spellskite isn't attacking?
I attacked my opponent with Medomai the Ageless with True Conviction out on the battlefield. My opponent used Disallow to counter the triggered ability of gaining an extra turn. Would I still get one extra turn because the two attacks put two instances of the ability on the stack and he can only counter one of the triggers? We're both confused.
Let's say in a multiplayer game Player A controls Willbreaker. Player B casts a control card such as Confiscate on a creature Player C controls. Who controls that creature?
Also, if a spell destroys target creature, will the creature still be destroyed after Player A gains control? And if Player A has a spell that destroys target creature an opponent controls, would that spell fizzle since Player A would be the controller of the target creature, therefore making it an illegal target?
I'm pretty sure I know the answer but want to double check. If I have Grave Betrayal out and a creature an opponent controls during my end step, do I need to wait until their end step to gain control of that creature since the card words it as "next end step"? Makes sense that it's delayed but wanted to know for sure.
Thanks! I looked into some of the rules and just learned about APNAP. Looks like my friend and I were both wrong! Ended up clearing him out with Plague Wind and finishing off his life with Rakdos that turn anyway so didn't matter
It was the beginning of my upkeep and as I understand it the active player may choose the order abilities on the stack. I chose to start with the Tormentor, which in response he decided to sac Jarad. Since Jarad died, I put a 2/2 zombie token on the field. Then I decided to sac the zombie token due to Sheoldred's ability. He claimed that Sheoldred's ability would trigger before the Zombie is on the field and I argued that I would get the token as soon as Jarad dies due to the Overseer's ability, regardless of what else is next on the stack. Appreciate the help!

His side of the field was Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord, Sheoldred, Whispering One and another irrelevant creature which I'm blanking on.
My side of the field was Rakdos, Lord of Riots (irrelevant), Overseer of the Damned and Indulgent Tormentor.
