Draw a card. Yeah, the DVD skips sometimes, and the Japanese subtitles are annoying, but it's still The Dark Knight

Artifact Creature - Wizard Construct
Whenever another artifact creature comes into play, you may put X +1/+1 counters on that creature, where X is ~'s power. If you do, sacrifice ~. It's amazing what the technology of detachable limbs has done for us.

19. New Utero v. Darkfire
Bonus 2/2 - Yeah
Balance 8/10 - In any other colors this card might get a higher score, but in the colors that are capable of discard capabilities, this can't be perfect. Normally it may not be all that difficult to play a spell you don't care about just to take control of the eyerack, but against blue and black, you might not be able to keep those cards in your hand. That said, the switching back and forth makes for an interesting balance. It's hard to evaluate, but I would say its probably pretty powerful.
Flavor 2.5/5 - Ok so nice art, but the text is pretty bland and not necessarily sensible. I don't see why we're talking about its destruction. It thrives on being exchanged, not destroyed.
Creativity 2/4 - There's something to be said about the synergy between the abilities here, but there's still nothing new in exchanging control of something with a drawback and a bonus.
Quality 3/4 - I see no reason for this not to read "that spell's owner" and also you need a comma after upkeep.
Total: 17.5/25
Bonus 2/2 - yay
Balance 5/10 - This is an uncommon if ever I saw one. With only three toughness, I don't see its rampage ability even coming into play most of the time except for combos. So its a 4/3 Trample haste for 5 in two colors. That screams uncommon to me. Drop the rampage two and it could be common, even. Look at what three hybrid mana can get you in R/G. 3/3 haste wither anyone? This isn't that much better than that, but it costs a lot more and is rare.
Flavor 2/5 - So its a golem. Other than that...artifact?
Creativity - .5/4 - This exact card has never been made before.
Quality - 4/4 - All right here.
Total 13.5/25
20. Vishara vs. No-show mcgee
21. Wessel vs. dd2k
Bonus 2/2 - Whoosh
Balance 6.5/10 - Green and black can certainly find a lot of other ways to produce mana than lands, so while your opponent gets first dibs on mana unlocking, that's probably not gonna matter much if you're playing a deck where this card makes sense. That said, in limited its none too great, because you cant design to have a lot of nonland mana sources as easily. Overall, it seems way too easy to abuse.
Flavor 2.5/5 - So the text is cool, but how are we diminishing our future? Is this card the future? Because after this card goes away it seems like everything goes back to normal again. Is this a global warming thing? Also, why is the last line of rules text necessary?
Creativity 2.5/4 - This is one of the better polluted land ideas i've seen, but on the other hand I have seen SO MANY LAND POLLUTION IDEAS.
Quality - 3/4 Render's text is too small. Should've cut some flavor text or the last line of rules text.
Total: 16.5/25
Bonus 2/2 - Shocker
Balance 8/10 - So its like it has an X on it, but its an X you can divide any way you choose and in response to abilities. So basically, even if the spell is countered you get to divide this X damage any way you wish. This might be a bit overpowered, but it definitely is costly as far as mana is concerned, comparing it to terminate. I think it would do well to have (B/R) as the surround cost. Other than those things, mostly balanced.
Flavor 4/5 - Not up-to-par art. Otherwise very fun.
Creativity 3/4 - Usin the stacky stack, but the actual card other than that isnt that original.
Quality - 4/4 cool cool coooooooool
Total 21/25
note: cool how i ended up between two people im judging.

Yeah, like basically I want you to be able to find a card with a mana cost that the mana already in your pool would allow you to play, but play it for free. and if you can't or don't wish to, you put it into your hand.
yeah, so i may or may not have let this thread fall asleep, but i guess i'll revive it by seeming popular demand. however, my girlfriend and i just broke up, so i'd fail you all if i judged right now
