Erm, I really didn't know which colors to put that in. My first thought was white/black...but blue gets things like Aquamoeba, so maybe blue/black? Erp.

First strike
Whenever ~ deals combat damage to a creature, tap that creature. As long as ~ is in play, that creature doesn't untap during its controller's untap step.

Get it? Snarl? Vicious AND snaring? Ha? Ha.ha. Hm.

1) You play it and your opponent has two or more fewer creatures than you. Instantly, he/she gains control of it and it becomes a 1/2, then he/she gains control of it again (cause he/she still has fewer creatures than you) and it becomes a 0/1, and then it happens a 3rd time, becomes a -1/0 and dies, and your hapless opponent just lost 3 life.
2) You play it with any number of fewer creatures than your opponent (including the Wretch). In this case, it's just silly, cause it'll get -3/-3 immediately and die, and you've just paid 1B to lose 3 life. Hmm.
3) You play it when it would bring you to one more creature than your opponent. He/she then has fewer creatures, so it changes and becomes a 1/2, then you have fewer creatures, so it changes and becomes a 0/1, then he/she has fewer creatures, so it changes and dies and he/she loses 3 life.
4) You play it when it would bring you and your opponent to an even number of creatures, in which case, nothing happens until one of you gets more creatures, at which time, one of the three of the above outcomes occur.
Now, 1B: Target opponent loses 3 life is by no means broken, but this is quite confusing. To clear things up a bit, why not make it timed and triggered? (I also cleaned up the first phrase.)
Unclean Wretch 1B
Creature - Leper
When ~ is put into a graveyard from play, lose 3 life.
(At the beginning of your upkeep/At the beginning of combat/At the end of your turn), if any player controls fewer creatures than any other player, he or she gains control of ~ and it gets -1/-1 until end of turn.
Personally, I'd go with the "At beginning of your upkeep" option. That way it checks once, then defects and shrinks until end of turn. But that's just me.

Enchantment (U?/R?)
Whenever a card leaves your graveyard, destroy each creature with power and/or toughness equal to that card's converted mana cost.
It might not be too powerful, until you think of Withered Wretch...or I could be mistaken.
Instant
Counter target spell. ~ deals damage to target creature equal to that spell's converted mana cost.

Whenever you play an instant or sorcery spell, put a blue and red Illusion creature token into play with power and toughness each equal to that spell's converted mana cost.
:3mana:: Destroy target Illusion creature token. Any player may play this ability.
Suspend disbelief, and anything is possible.

Not that I'm complaining, nor that I want to *bump* Soto out (a moot point at this time, in any case), but Krash, you mentioned that you didn't have any issues with Soto's quality....but shouldn't the wording be "Search target player's library..." rather than "Search in target player's library..."?
On the flip side, good catch that a card needs to "have" suspend in order to be suspended. I'll have to try and work that in. About the power level of the card, the reason that it's in the current form is because you can also look at your own hand, take the life loss, and have any card in your hand the next turn's upkeep. I felt that 4 mana for a 3/2 with such a versatile ability was pretty balanced. You *did* realize that you could target yourself with it, right?

Ok, I'd like some help, if someone would be so kind. I LOVE this card concept, but it's pretty wordy...so my main question is how to get the wording down without losing any content:
Battle Rift 3RW
Instant
Play Battle Rift only during combat.
Each player may search his or her library for a creature card and put it into play. The active player may put his or her creature into play tapped and attacking. Each other player may then assign his or her creature to block any creature. (All blocks must still be legal.) Each library searched this way is then shuffled by its owner.
It fits....but it's eight lines of pretty small text...
Thanks in advance.
High Suspense 1UB

Target opponent pays any amount of life. Then look at that player's hand and remove a card in it from the game. Suspend that card with a number of time counters on it equal to 1 plus the amount of life that player paid. When the last time counter is removed from it, you must play it instead of its owner.

When ~ comes into play, look at target player's hand and remove a card in it from the game. That card becomes suspended with 1 time counter on it and its owner loses life equal to its converted mana cost. (When the final time counter is removed from a suspended card, its owner must play it if possible.)
3/2
No flavor text...I felt that the reminder text was more important. I realize that that's not complete reminder text, but it is a rare (which is one of the few times that lack of full reminder text is somewhat acceptable), and the parts included are the ones that will be the most confusing, namely 1) that it's the owner who gets to play it (not the controller/owner of the Minx), and 2) that the owner must play it if possible.
