Heartbreaking.
This is simply the only place I come for any sort of Magic information, so I'm not quite sure I'll even be paying attention to Magic as much anymore after close.
Truly sorry to see this go. It is, indeed, the end of an era.

May 1, 2018Crazy Pierre posted a message on All Sets Are Good: LegendsWell, people saying Legends is a bad set...it's not really playable in limited or sealed. A lot of the creatures are very expensive to play. When your best limited beater is Thunder Spirit at 1WW and that's a rare card, yikes.Posted in: Articles
I do have a casual Jasmine Boreal deck that's based on destroying evil, peace prevailing, nature and the odd Shuriken, because I had thought for a long time she held a shuriken in her hand, whereas someone pointed out that she's holding a snowflake. Cards such as Fyndhorn Pollen, Northern Paladin, Southern Paladin, Penatarch Paladin, Cleanse, Shuriken, the meld Gisela and Bruna and so on. YOu get the idea, it's not very good but it's fun!
Legends is one of my fave all-time sets, but I always sucked at pack wars. My best card an Elder Land wurm and his? A Mana Drain lol...

No one expects the Cattish Inqusition!
Super stoked, I love cats and keep making them as Commanders for short periods. Having a GW one is long, long overdue and will let me marry Jedit and Khemba.
The real solution here is to just ask the blue player if they run Rift, and if they affirm, kill them instantly. ANd keep killing them.
Of course, if it DID go away we'd see blue mages turn to Disk, O-Stone, Capsize or other solutions that are less tedious or overwhelming.
"Divine Intervention’s third ability triggers only if its controller removes the last intervention counter from it. It doesn’t matter how that happens. For example, if you control Divine Intervention and the last intervention counter is removed as a result of a Clockspinning you control, the ability will trigger. On the other hand, if the last intervention counter is removed as a result of a Clockspinning another player controls, the ability won’t trigger (and won’t ever be able to)."
Would have much preferred if this were just Flame Wave or Anger of the Gods or somesuch. Even a Lightning Blast variant would have been fine. Can't use in Zurgo, moving on.
Agree. There should be 5-10 cards spoiled per day, with the minimum being around 5. Land cycles count as a single spoiled card and go from there. I'm interested in knowing what the red exert spell will be, for example, and it may not even be tournament-worthy but here we are, still waiting. Hopefully Ixalan has beefier spoils to keep us sated.
(8 mana is turn 3 or 4, so you can grind someone out fairly quickly. I'm sure some control builds will love this card, especially with Academy Rector floating around.)
I do like Phyrexian Nornyo is back, though.
So tap Coffers for 5 (7-2), then use two of that for another 5 (8), then + 6 = 14 etc. etc. There's probably easier ways to do it, dumb card.
