Also, I wanted to just thank you for the IQs overall, if we could, I'd seriously advocate you for the Community Cup.
Looking forward to IQ 7!

Zombies, Bant/Naya/GW aggro, 4c/5c Control/Goodstuffs, Jund Midrange all play Thragtusk.
Tokens, Esper Control, Junk, Reanimator, 4c/5c Control/Good Stuffs all play Lingering Souls.
Finally, Bonfire is played in Grixis Control, Jund Midrange, UWR/UR/4c/5c Control and Tempo, 4c/5c Goodstuffs, Naya Aggro, Naya Midrange, and Jund/BR Zombies.
Those 3 Cards are EVERYWHERE. I cannot imagine a match where one of the 3 didn't show up. -

Sep 19, 2012Tinfoil Hat posted a message on Destabilization - Text DumpJust one thing...might want to change Tide of Energy to like 4 target permanents...otherwise this can be VERY easily abused... Even at 4 permanents I can just imagine playing it in Heartbeat combo turn 3, then turning this face up and untapping all my lands to combo off immediately. With it at 6, It can be uber abused if you have 6 lands, play heartbeat for 3, then you have 6 at your disposal, play and spellmorph this for 3U, you still have 2 mana left, and you're untapping 6 lands to get to 14 mana....Posted in: Repository of Creative stuff
EDIT: I would even play this in some sort of slower, more consistant storm deck, play it face down, then next turn cast a ritual, float mana, then spellmorph it, and untap into a LOT of mana -

This guy knows what he's talking about. All of this makes logical sense
Dude is 4 posts in to MTGS and he makes an amazing prediction. I quite hope he turns out to be right
What do you think he means by "NH"? or am I just being dumb and missing something obvious?
EDIT: This is my list I've been working on for a couple days. Mine is the 8Scales version and its proven to be very consistent at drawing a scales effect and a high payoff card. Especially with Dromoka's Command. I forgot how insane that card is.
// 3 Artifact
3 Smuggler's Copter
// 23 Creature
4 Hangarback Walker
4 Walking Ballista
4 Winding Constrictor
4 Avatar of the Resolute
4 Elvish Mystic
3 Rishkar, Peema Renegade
// 5 Enchantment
4 Hardened Scales
1 Abzan Ascendancy
// 7 Instant
2 Fatal Push
4 Dromoka's Command
1 Abzan Charm
2 Hissing Quagmire
4 Concealed Courtyard
4 Windswept Heath
3 Forest
4 Blooming Marsh
1 Plains
2 Shambling Vent
1 Canopy Vista
// 1 Planeswalker
1 Nissa, Voice of Zendikar
3 Siege Rhino
1 Herald of Anafenza
1 Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet
1 Anafenza, the Foremost
2 Retribution of the Ancients
1 Anguished Unmaking
1 Hissing Quagmire
1 Shambling Vent
Considering this is the MODERN forum, Pull from Eternity is a Modern card that will stop Norin in MODERN. GTFO with your *****ty format and *****ty advice
Punishing Fire?
I definitely want to play Abzan Eldritch. Play it Unburial Rites style, with Mulch and Grisly Salvage and Seige Rhino...

Guardian of the Abbey 1W
Creature - Human Soldier
Each spell that would cost less than two mana to cast costs two mana to cast. (Additional mana in the cost may be paid with any color of mana or colorless mana. For example, a spell that would cost R to cast costs 1R to cast instead.)
2/2
Basically a Hoser for A/V and Living End that I honestly thought of as a Vintage card first. But this also slows down the decks using the hyper efficient cards like Lightning Bolt, Serum Visions, Monastery Swiftspear, Thoughtseize, etc.

Eldrazi Negator 6C
Creature - Eldrazi
Colored spells cost C more to cast.
4/8
This may be too powerful, because it could just completely lock out some decks. But it was a thought I had, a sort of Colorless Iona, Shield of Emeria.
