Mark Rosewater has consistently stated that Banding is a 10 oreven an 11 on the Storm scale. Since 10 means that "It would require a major miracle" to appear, and 11 is even less likely, I think it's safe to say for sure that Banding will not return in War of the Spark.
You can have a 3.99 price point, or you can have reprints of expensive modern staples. You're not getting both, forget that.
Why? We’ve had supplemental sets like both Conspiracies and Battlebond that have done just that. The Selesnya guild-kits had a wanted card worth the price of the box. WotC makes none of the extra money hoarders charge for holding old product, so why support them?
None of those products had the same level of reprints for Modern as any of the modern masters sets.
I guarantee if they put a Tarmagoft in the Selesnya guild kit it wouldn't sell for MSRP.
I must have written that out 10+ times on these forums, so I'll skip, sorry. Short answer: WotC acknowledge the secondary market prices and balance out the EV to save reprint equity and avoid price gouging. I honestly wish it was not like that, but it is and have always been since MM15.
My play group of Commander has it were you draw ten cards and then put three back,so this to me is familar.
We did this as a casual house rule for kitchen table 60 at my house, but we stopped because it heavily favours the more skilled player. It probably works a lot better in commander though.

If I'm reading this right, the process goes:
First Mull: Seven cards, one to bottom
Second Mull: Seven cards, two to bottom
Third Mull: Seven cards, three to bottom
etc
Seems fair to me and also a godsend to make the mulligan system less harsh.
You're reading it right.
I absolutely LOVE this for limited and Standard, we get more actual games of magic with a more forgiving mulligan rule.
But as for Modern and Legacy? I own green Tron in Modern (sorry), and that deck will be a lot better if my mull to four lets me see seven cards and pick the four I want from them. Like, a LOT better. Not sure if I'm onboard with that.
Interesting, previously people thought Teyo was a lady, guess he's just handsome and wears a robe.
The few white dudes they put on cards these days mostly look like a cross dresser at best lol
Such as?
The new Domri art looks like some teenage girl at a My Chemical Romance concert and that blue twin planeswalker from the multiplayer set I forget the name of is basically Brienne from Game Of Thrones but a man? lol. This new planeswalker too.
But to be honest, it's hard finding examples because there basically aren't any white dudes in any of the artwork anyway lel. Older sets were a nice mix of everything, but the newer sets are pretty blatant with the whole appeasing to political correctness. Oh well, the game is still fun.
They are painstakingly deliberate with distributing characters between ethnicities and genders. Count them and see, it's pretty bulletproof. White males are not underrepresented right now, you just perceive it to be so because the norm that you've become accustomed to, your mental calibration so to speak, is the overrepresentation of white males that has gone on in this and many other games for a very long time.
It's kind of like staring at a red sheet of paper for a long time, then peeling it away and looking at a white sheet of paper. It will look green. That doesn't mean that is in fact green, or that the white paper should be more red.
It's not your fault, it's just the way our minds work. But I advice you to try to keep up with the progress and break out from your own miscalibrated norm, you'll find life to be a lot less frustrating that way.
This is the coolest Magic set trailer I have ever seen. They useally shoot for the moon and it ends up looking cheap. This is carried by its simplicity.
Also, we have a release date, 3rd of May is the first Friday after prerelease. Quite late, isn't it, when RNA released mid January?
I wish his etb ability actually worked in arena, it doesn't currently so he is useless.
It worked for me in draft almost two weeks ago. Have you cast it enough times to know that its ability didn't just miss all the creatures? The animation is really quick. There are no coins shown or anything like that, he just swipes his sickle (or whatever) and some randomly selected creatures die (or none or all).
He said he is excited about three sets this year, and RNA is not one of them. It's probably not Core 2020 either, which leaves WAR, the innovation set and the Fall set.
Gavin has also talked about WAR doing something completely new and exciting.

Sorry for the off topic.

Still legal in paper where you can shortcut. Seems fair.

Edit: Hey, how about Liliana's Spellbook in 2020?
You posted in the wrong subforum btw, please look around a bit before you post if you're new.
