Ignoring the OK counterspell which I would prefer to cost {1}{U} or to increase the target spell's cost by {4}, I have to ask: am I the only one that doesn't like the land destruction "replacement" Wizards seems to be hinting at? Stensia Innkeeper in Eldrich Moon; Chandra's Revolution in Aether Revolt; and now Rubble?

I understand the pricing of the counterspell BECAUSE it has something extra slapped on it. Ignoring the counterspell side, what I'm concerned about is the potential replacement of land destruction going forward.

You do realize you're asking for a strictly better Mana Leak with a Stone Rain flashback, right?
