MTG Salvation

Suddenly making Progenitus a playable Commander.

I don't know if it's ubiquitous like Command tower, but it's gotta be pretty close.

So, this card is designed for...
1. Expensive Commanders (legends that would be hard to cast by turn 6)
2. Multicolor Commanders that are commander centric (if you aren't running two partners or Progenitus just to have access to 4-5 colors, a 3+ color deck could really use this).
3. Commanders that don't try to win the game with combat the turn they come out (Godo, Maelstrom Wanderer, Etc.)

So... stuff like Progenitus, Any of the 5 legal Eldrazi Titans, Zacama, Damia, Gishath, Jin-Gitaxias, Kaervek, Big Omnath, Razaketh (who can sac the golem for value if it survives attacking), The Ur-Dragon, Teshana, Vorinclex... and that's about all I can think of.

If opponent has no available blockers, and if you have a sac outlet, it can go infinite with Aurelia, the War Leader.

Unless you have infinite mana this doesn’t work. You would still have to pay the commander tax for each time Aurelia was sacked.

I can see 2 main points about this card:

• The upside is you can get a high-cost general out just at the right time if he connects and there are plenty of techs to help him connect. (I can to a lesser extent see this bringing out a partner general like Ravos, Soultender after a boardwipe such as Duneblast)
• The downside is he is very easy to telegraph and playgroups may even start to expect him and have appropriate counters.

Still, for a high-risk, high-reward card it's a very good design.
