Funny this is how me and my friends play commander anyway. Really does open up different ways to create your deck but also found the game go much quicker this way.

When the outcome of the game starts depending on where you’re sitting, I feel justified in breaking out my Frankie Peanuts commander deck. Just saying.

While it's not something about multiplayer magic I'm particularly fond of, it was always dependent on where you're sitting. Good luck getting a combo off with the control player sitting to your right. Meanwhile in less competitive games, if your beatstick commander has haste you'd much rather go after the most wrath-heavy deck so you can swing into an empty board.
