Quite good on its own, even better with tribal support. I don't know if vampires were having problems racing other aggro decks, but this would solve such an issue.

Not exactly Brimaz, King of Oreskos, but still could be impressive in the right build. It's pretty cool that you can get the value immediately after playing it ala Turn 2 Gifted Aetherborn, or whatever else bubbles up.

only one white in the cost, i think a better comparaison would've been monastery mentor

btw this card is a rare, two times easier to get than a mythic

Whelp, Definitely a vampire EDH card for Edgar Markov to play with.

I didn't even like it when they made red vampires but white?!?! Cmon Wizards you know better than that.

I have a lot of issues with their color choices. Especially where White is concerned.

But, Vampires actually haven't annoyed me.

Black Vampires are generally the kind that sit back and manipulate. They recognize their own superiority and are content to take what they want when it suits them. They care little for non-Vampires except as a food source. But that also means they recognize there is little point in terrorizing their herd.

Red Vampires have completely given up all attempts at self-control. They're completely at the mercy of their bloodlust. They kill a whole village just to gorge themselves on blood. They enjoy terrorizing their prey.

White Vampires have mastered their hunger because they feel compassion for their food source. They see them as more than cattle. They take enough blood to live, but avoid killing.

Definitely a worthy include for Edgar Markov players. Decent token production is in short supply with Vampires and the lifelink on this guy's tokens will definitely help in the long run. Not a crazy card, but still a good one.
