Splinter Twin found yet another friend at 3 CMC.

I'm gonna give you one word for why a green splash won't be that bad at all: Tarmogoyf. Besides, who cares about evasion or survivability in a Splinter Twin deck? You're casting your flash creature on the opponent's end step when they're tapped out, then making infinite copies on your own turn. The only thing that can stop the combo at that point is a Pact or a Palace Guard (and who plays that?). If anything, this has an advantage over Deceiver Exarch and Pestermite in that its copies don't die or become useless to Illness in the Ranks — or even Virulent Plague, for that matter!
