Make a turbo fog control with the Illusion blocker, copying it, and the slime that gets bigger as a finisher?

Counter your turn 2 fetchland or function as a utility and copy eternal witness (to return this, letting you make as many 2/1's for 3) or spell queller or merfolk/spirit Lord's. Seems absurd in modern.

When just the text was spoiled, it looked like this was an instant on both halves. Trickbind is excellent if you have it for a fetchland on turn 2, the problem is if you draw it later, it becomes nearly a dead card. if this could have done that and created a spell queller token or copied the spirit lord to give it hexproof at instant speed, it would have been absurd. I still like it, but having the copy side as a sorcery takes away a lot of what i thought gave it potential.

you'd think that Trickbind would be seeing more play then :/

Seems pretty solid. Is Replicate instant speed?

I thought it was, but that half being instant makes the card significantly weaker. Still, the first half being stifle is good

Well its an instant.

Both halves of the card being fairly cheap makes this card appealing, if you have creatures you want to risk copying at sorcery speed.
