This card may be legitimately playable in modern.

Between the large number of dual lands and fetch lands people use, this could easily grow gigantic over time. While it is much slower than death's shadow or goyf, the fact that you can splash this into any deck, that it requires minimal "set-up", and that you will never have "the wrong mana" for it could really increase consistency in 3-4 color decks or add a beater to control decks that play for the long game.

while big, i don't necessarily think it would be a hit in modern.At four mana, it had better win the game outright or within two turns, and it really doesnt do that, especially with no evasion.

The "differently named" bit is a gimmick designed to fool you into not realizing that this wouldn't even be that great if it were simply "lands you control." It's a card that offers nothing aside from conditional power/toughness at a price too high.
