Oh man. This is so gonna find a home in my Abzan Song of Freyalise-using Zombie deck. I already manage to get opponents into a bad position with Plague Belcher making sweepers a hazard. This'll be icing on the cake.

Would love to see a lanterns variant with this and aetherflux reservoir, shredding lands from the top of your library to keep the “storm count” going (gaining a net positive in life gain) until you burn your opponent for 50.

It's not quite ad nauseum. the difference between pay life and lose life is critical here for allowing you to get cards when you are below 0 but alive. Still the ability to cast them for free after this is nothing to be scoffed at. and this is absurd with Sensei's divining top. You can keep casting it for 1 life, then putting it back to replace any cards on top of your deck you don't want to cast for life or to filter through lands. .

Token decks want. Think about this in Slimefoot, the Stowaway or Ghave, Guru of Spores: Sac ten saprolings, Slimefoot and Zulaport Cutthroat trigger ten times, and opponents lose 10 life from this.

Soooo, really good with cantripping lifegain spells with converted mana cost less than the life gain. This seems like the new Lich’s Mastery, theres gotta be some kooky way to abuse it.

you can't just go around making this kind of freecasting nonsense.

So far, I haven't seen anybody talking about how this breaks Golgari exploration decks. With Wildgrowth walker, your 2/3 mana explore minions will either cost a neutral amount or even gain you life. Even worse, explore lets you dig for even more explore, so this could let these decks flood the board really quickly at no real cost.
