Wow, for cards without as many effects these new Planeswalkers have a lot of upside.

They kind of are already, just in an "enchantments that effectively tap" sort of way.

I am kinda also looking from the design space perspective. Planeswalkers that are basically also enchantments.

You mean like an Abzan/Simic version of Cryptolith Rite? Yeah, that's pretty good. I also have a couple sliver versions.

I am rather hoping that the new design space being explored for planeswalkers carries on into future sets. Static abilities like this, plus the possibility of enchantments/artifacts that grant additional loyalty abilities.
