Hopefully it's incentive for you to meander down to Chicago and, ultimately, up into Madison for some Magic and Violence.

I dont underestimate your abilities, I just think that I am stronger. Remember, I never said our fight would be easy....

I have only taken the classes for a short time, possibly 10 so far in the past 2 months. it pretty brutal, but I love it. before i started the classes back in november, I was losing weight pretty easily, now, I have upped my training, and I have dropped a significant amount of poundage.
Cool, I train like krav maga's pressure-testing, but with my arts instead. Also, I'm glad to hear you're losing some weight, I didn't want my considerable agility to be the only determining factor in my victory.
Edit: Psi, your timing is either horrible or perfect, I have to get offline just now. :monty:

[Imagine scantily-clad women in a leud embrace,
one stretched out and victim to a chokehold of the other,
both with big stupid grins spreading across their faces.]
I hate the stupid weather here , it snowed another 2-4 inches and its drifting around because of the wind .
That sounds strangely like Wisconsin. Only difference, we'd probably get 8-12 inches, go to school, then have school canceled the next day due to cold.

I will never understand the school district here.
I live in Indiana, the place were we could have 60F days one day, and have a blizzard the next XD.
Okay I'm far too lazy to go through and read everything, I also believe that's my medication making me ADD. Thank you really strong antibiotics. o.O
Life seems to be good. I'm going to see about getting ceramic things made, I found a place in a local mall that has ceramic pieces done, just you pay for that, then paint it however you want. I've seen some really cute designs come out of it.
And I'm up to a tally of two people who are currently "never" speaking to me again because they've found out I was engaged. Their loss.

Your joking right?
As far as fun, and innovation goes. It is definitely the best.
Sorry, but four variations of UG Threshold and a combo deck is not varied.
Not to mention that the Legacy community is by and large not very friendly.
In Vintage you can play any deck that you want provided that you play some disruption via artifacts or on colors, and the meta is not defined enough to prevent all decks but 5-10 from winning. There are healthy amounts of combo, aggro, and control.

Its quiet obvious you don't know nor have played Legacy that much, because there are much more decks than that that are definitely viable.

Ok, I will agree with you there.

I don't know or play Vintage, so I don't know nor will comment.

Ill give you a cruel Legacy community, but what do you call vintage? seriously. its full of elitists, its part of the eternal format.
And I am going to agree with your comment of being able to play any deck is you run artifact or color disruption. Have you ever been to a competitive Vintage Tournament?
Its not that simple to disrupt it, and you can hardly play any deck.
I love Legacy, but Vintage will always be my Favorite Format
Its quiet obvious you don't know nor have played Legacy that much, because there are much more decks than that that are definitely viable.
I am aware that it is more varied than just that, but it is almost certainly true that given the size of the card pools available, Legacy is the least open format.
And everything else aside it is true that I rarely play Legacy because the community is pretty terrible, and honestly, I can't have fun playing a game if my opponents are all dicks.
@Weaver: I've never been to any major (50+) Vintage tournaments, no. Though I hope to go to some if any come within reasonable distance of Baltimore.
So, Clem, when can we sign you up for joining us Izzet?
And wow, how many people here use invisi?
Myself, rocker05, Weaver, Ravus, DarknessFalls, haruhiistx, and pet snake. Anyone else?
I always thought that was a prerequisite for joining [The Izzet]...
Also legacy has a ton, well more than I care to count, of competitive decks.
Edit @haruhiistx: I've found the Legacy community the most supportive of all the communities out there. They are always helpful and interested in getting new peaple to play the format. Also I would say Legacy is also the most open format avaliable, since you can build so many different decks, to either fit your budget or your play style.

And Standard is more of an open format than Legacy?
I can't have fun playing a game if my opponents are all dicks.
You can find people that will play Legacy with you that aren't like that if you look around.

Given the size of the card pool. Standard has very many fewer sets available, and yes, it is still open, in the sense that RW Lark and BW Tokens are relatively recent decks.
Online doesn't count since playing on MWS isn't that much fun, and in real life why play Legacy over EDH/Vintage?

Standard is still, even given the size of the card pool, not very open.
And BW Tokens isn't that good of a deck. (Yeah, I said it.)

I've been thinking about it. I don't really know why I haven't joined yet. I was thinking about looking into some other clan threads, before making a decision(I was thinking of two others).
Though after checking the other clans out, I think this clan is the one for me. I'll sign up to be Rocker05's apprentice.
EDH is a lot of fun in the actual games, and Vintage is both fun individually each game and can be applied to tournaments.
Why bother with Legacy?
I can agree with the EDH part of this post. I have Arcades Sabboth and Xiahudun, the One-Eyed built. I guess now I should get started on an Izzet coloured general. I've never played legacy, so I can't comment there though.

If you're joining you'd best turn on ninja mode so that people can't tell if you're viewing the thread or not.

Legacy is VERY open, it runs every set except the UN sets, and its banned list keeps the format balanced. Not to mention that Force of Will Holds the Eternal Formats together.
Legacy is a very fun format. And the card pool is more open than T2.
I would actually somewhat agree with this statement,.......but then there is Manaless Ichorid XD.
-edit-
@ haruhiistx- That still doesn't change what I said.
Manaless Ichorid became powerful again right after the restrictions, the once decks were rebuilt and what not, it became weaker.
and even so, Bazaar of Bagdhad's arent cheap, not P9 expensive, but they still make decks over 1k, which is still more than what some people want to play
:uhh:....Yes......:p. And, as time goes on, it will become more and more common.

Its still a pretty powerful deck, and if your not prepared for it, you will lose to it.
And I know, but you said power 9, which bazaars are not ;).

Because Legacy is different than EDH/Vintage?

The Izzet are a very sneaky people.
Again, because Legacy is a COMPLETELY different format than EDH and/or Vintage.
And sitting in the position of supporting Legacy, I could ask you the very same question concerning Vintage/EDH but I don't ;).
And welcome Clem :D. Don't mind the arguing, its the Izzet in all of us XD.
Legacy is VERY open, it runs every set except the UN sets, and its banned list keeps the format balanced. Not to mention that Force of Will Holds the Eternal Formats together.
Legacy is a very fun format. And the card pool is more open than T2.
www.deckcheck.com
Look at how many legacy decks you can choose from. cant say that for Standard
BW Tokens is pretty bad, I played it for awhile, it sucks.
Playing Legacy is Different than Playing EDH AND Vintage,
each format is different.
besides, we all know you cant win a Vintage Tournament without Power 9
Again, EDH games are the most fun games of Magic I play in general, and Vintage is both fun, open, and applies to tournaments.
@Weaver: That's what proxies are for.
I would actually somewhat agree with this statement,.......but then there is Manaless Ichorid XD.
-edit-
@ haruhiistx- That still doesn't change what I said.

Wait....people still play proxy vintage????
wow.
Manaless Ichorid became powerful again right after the restrictions, the once decks were rebuilt and what not, it became weaker.
and even so, Bazaar of Bagdhad's arent cheap, not P9 expensive, but they still make decks over 1k, which is still more than what some people want to play
whoops, i tend to forget that its "Net"
www.deckcheck.net
EDZ: The Quietmen strike again! Shall I Strike Back?
:uhh:....Yes......:p. And, as time goes on, it will become more and more common.
Its still a pretty powerful deck, and if your not prepared for it, you will lose to it.
And I know, but you said power 9, which bazaars are not ;).
