I apologize to those of you who had expressed interest in wanting to keep the game alive, but I think there's enough people who don't really want to continue - coupled with three people MIA (for which I did receive one volunteer to fill a spot) - that I'm just going to call the game.
I'm missing some vital pieces of the set-up information that I kind of played by ear while I'd taken over the first time, and having missed N3 altogether, I just don't see how I can continue on in Stormblind's place.
Interestingly enough, you were who I was going to make a case on. Heh.

So having been told who was scum by Cyan (Yeah he was mafia), i found this game pretty funny.
Ace chose basically all experienced well-respected players as his scum partners.....and then WoD. The only reason I could think of for this was to try and see if one lesser-known player would fly under the radar...but WoD got easily lynched ANYWAY.

I love Joboman, Poggy, Niv, and Vezok, because, while they may not be the best players, they still try to win. Having fun is the most important thing to a game, but I've learned that if you don't try to win, then you're ruining everyone else's fun.
Hmm... I was wondering why Cyan hadn't been killed quickly. That probably would've occurred to me as soon as it was too late to do anything about it. On the other hand, I'd already weakened him once...

So, Cyan, if you can remember that far back, were all the things you pounded me for really as scummy as you made them out to be, or were you just being scum?
They were as scummy as I made them out to be. I don't make up cases for people being scum; even when I am scum. A case has to have validity to get other people to go along with it.

This ^^
I remember being wary about Des Coures, had no read on Ande and thought Cyan was playing townish.
Yeah, I was definitely interested in finding the daykiller, for obvious reasons.
Alot of our mafia kills went awry, it was fairly frustrating. First we tried to kill some person but also had investigated Kpaca the same night, so he ended up getting killed instead. That was a pretty big blow.
Our second kill attempt(RafK I think) also didn't happen.
@Ged: It was interesting, I kept having to battle off the urge to kill you, because you helped speed up the extra kills so much.
I was beginning to re-read the thread to try and incriminate ced, but StormBlind disappearing again put a stop to all motivation for that. -_-
We were pretty screwed early on, actually... Cyan decided killing off WoD was a great way to clear himself, and Ace/kpaca were too scummy for words, which led to the successful block on kpaca night 2. Then andelijah disappeared, taking his results for 2 straight nights with him.
So yes, it was really only me and Cyan, and me with a not very useful ability, that I had to fake a PR for. :/
Edit: Odds on Dagger for daykilling SK.

I'm probably least concerned in CC's case because, unfortunately, the most likely result there is that he got busted for drunk driving or something terrible.
But with Andelijah etc, I just have no idea, and am worried.
Pale Mage was the daykiller, IIRC, and he was actually a vig who could kill people who took an action the night before.
The part of the game setup I'm missing is the "Legion" aspect of it. You were techincally divided into groups of 4 or 5, I think, and one scum was to come from each legion. Certain abilities were only supposed to work on legions, and hence made a giant mess since I didn't know who was in what group.

I didn't choose all experienced players for the mafia. I had to rank each player in order of who I would like to be mafia, then SB said he would deliberately muck up the list using a secret formula to make sure it was even.
I don't remember who I ranked, but it was about 50/50 at the end.
My role was a bit odd. Could poison people at night, but for some reason while I was alive I also had to keep putting an antidote in the food which kept the poisoned people alive. The idea was that once I died, all my poison victims would go too (town, by the way). NightArcher and Andelijah were the dead men walking, I didn't poison anyone on night 2.
ced- you were definitely on the possible scum list after overplaying your hand against me (admittedly, probably still after Dagger). I don't think I really suspected Cyan though.
I can give a summary of the setup, since I reviewed the thing:
The roles in the game were distributed into legions, which were all about the same size/average role strength. There was one player outside the game who was the mafia leader. If memory serves, he sent in a ranked list of all the players in the game, and his top choice from each legion was recruited into the mafia. Beyond that, the legions themselves didn't do a lot, though there might have been one or two roles that worked with legions.
Unfortunately, I don't have the setup anymore, but that's the gist of it.
I am so sorry. I was just about to post an update in this game when I noticed that it was already declared dead. It had been a bad week for me. And after the entire shenanigans with Rafk, I just lack the will to try and squeeze myself out of the situation, opting instead to just stay low while I settled some things in real life. I figured it won't do much harm since the game was such a slow pace anyway and it'll give me a much needed breathing space of around a week to get back into action again with fresh eyes.
I have no incentive to do much actually, and I think I bite off more than I can chew in a few cases by being overly above the radar, just to inject some sort of excitement and motivation to actually participate in the game. But yeah, I don't have the incentive to do much, and lacking the ability to actively affect the game like killing sort of make me just wandering around trying to survive as long as possible. There is nothing much to do though.

Sad to see that the game died, but hardly surprised. I may not have been the worst offender, but my participation was hardly impressive, and I feel bad for not having contributed more. I honestly was happy when I was killed, since I simply was not into the game like I'd thought I would be. I was having a terrible time getting reads on anyone, and felt like I was just tagging along for the most part.
I was the motivator, who could hijack the role of a player I had given a favour to. Ominous indeed.
I had no idea Cyan or ced were scum, very well played.

I was shooting you next if I didn't like the town's target come claim time. Either that or I was going to try and lynch you. Hadn't quite made up my mind yet. Either way, I wanted you dead.
Although the game is dead, I'd like to congratulate the scum team on their performance up until this point. Well played.
So... why did you shoot Roja and TMT? You caused me no end of trouble with all that speculations of me being the SK.
You have a fairly good nose, and I was suspicious of him. I figured it would save us time to get rid of him even if we were wrong.
I was suspicious of TMT. I was very surprised to find out he wasn't scum.
So, basically it was a combination of improving PoE and simple laziness. I don't care if I actually hit scum with a vig shot as long as I improve the odds of finding scum in the long run.
Besides, I wasn't going to let you get lynched on any SK crap. The obsession with the daykiller was very helpful to me, actually.

The thing is, I think I'm an SK-variant.
If I actually achieve my WC, as far as I could tell, everyone else loses. So it was actually slightly irritating being hounded on what I didn't do, but actually was in-game role.

I'm not surprised at all you thought I was scum. Like I said, I was having no luck getting a read, and so I was largely going with the flow and supporting cases that looked decent. I fully expected people to say I looked scummy for it, and was honestly surprised I was getting as little attention as I was. Another reason I was relieved to get killed: I wouldn't have to defend myself against the inevitable case.
Also, after hearing about this Legion setup, I realize that I probably can't be recruited (as I speculated by the lack of scum wincon in my role PM, and was ready to spill onto the thread and hope you guys buy it).
I probably can't be recruited as well. I am a much more explosive multi-voter than DC. Before the game ended, I already have 3 one-shot votes ready to be used at any time I want, and it will only grow as time passes.
