My 360 is boxed as well but only because my current tv options are a the tv I got when I was 10(I'm 27 now!) or this mammoth tv my mom inherited from my nana that makes the text look like tiny ants, even when I'm wearing my glasses. Boredom has caused me to hook up my SNES and I've been reliving my childhood with my 12 year old brother. I do love Street Fighter II Turbo but Super Street Fighter 4 is what I really want to play. Also, ☺☺☺☺ XBox Live. I'll pay for it when I want DLC. All I really want is Castle Crashers and possibly Scott Pilgrim vs the World.
I saw some people say that PS3's exclusives are better, let's take a look.
XBOX:
Gears of War Series
Fable Series
Halo Series
Mass Effect Series
Alan Wake
Splinter Cell: Conviction
Crackdown Series
PS3:
God of War III
Heavy Rain
Little Big Planet
MAG
Grand Turismo 5
Final Fantasy XIV
Ratchet and Clank
In my opinion they are equal. PS3 has more original titles on it's belt, but Xbox has more series.
PS3 also has Uncharted and Uncharted 2, which are two of my favorite games I've ever played. PS3 also has the Resistance franchise, which is really fun imo. Killzone 2 was also a great exclusive as well, with arguably the best graphics for a shooter in this generation. Killzone 3 will be in 3D! Can't forget about Metal Gear Solid 4 either, lol, PS3 has waaaay better exclusive imo.
The only game I have ever had issues with servers is MW2, I mostly play BC2 and have has no issues ever.
I would do what other said; sell the arcade and get a PS3.
I have mine hooked up with Triton Surround headphones, and the Fragenstein mouse and I'm in gaming heaven playing BC2. The headphones put you right in the game!

ALSO demon souls ,3d dot game heroes (ok it's not the best game ever but loads of retro fun ) and now they make Team icon collection (shadow of the colossus and ICO remakes) also The last guardian (also from team ico) will be ps3 exclusive,
ALSO mass effect 2 will be also on ps3 so no exclusive here
most notable exclusives on xbox(halo, fable etc) are also on PC so if you have a good pc you really dont lose anything,
but in ps3, you REALLY get exclusive games...
yep, i really do love my ps3 and my exclusives... i dont even have an HD yet! will get one next month ,: D

How can you list PS3 exclusives and forget the biggest ones they have?
The Uncharted series and Metal Gear Solid: 4 would like to have a word with you.
Not to mention Infamous, Demon Souls, Resistance, and MLB: The Show. All of which are critically acclaimed exclusives.
I don't own a 360, and as long as I can continue to get its best games on other platforms, I don't ever plan on buying one. In my opinion the only reason to even own an Xbox is if you can't afford a decent gaming PC.
I think some people don't understand that the Mirrans are the bad guys. Arcbound Ravager is Mirran. Phyrexia are the good guys coming in to conquer an evil, evil world.
Why exactly do I have to pay for it again? You still have to pay for content patches. Servers? Do they really think the reason I bought Halo was for single player? Obviously not, so why should I have to pay extra to access the main part of the game?
So I just bought Halo Reach and I'm actually having a lot of fun with it. Except...
It turns out that you can't play Firefight without a hard drive. I have plenty of memory with my flash drives, but they decided I should spend more money for no reason to unlock big features of the game. So not only do I have to pay for online, I have to pay more to access online game modes.

Fable is a mediocre RPG at best, and Fable 2 actually managed to be worse. It's barely even an action or rpg game, and is more like The Sims set to a fantasy background. Mass Effect 1 is fantastic, but Mass Effect 2 sucks entirely(the storyline is a bunch of nonsense that doesn't make sense, and doesn't tie into the first game in any meaningful fashion), and because the story is intentionally left open in the first game, I can't recommend people play the series at all, unless the 3rd part redeems it. I can't comment on most of those other 360 ones, because I don't like FPS. Gears and Halo are pretty safe buys though.
As I said initially, it really comes down to: Do you want to play FPS, or do you want to play everything else? If you want to play FPS, you want an Xbox. It has the majority of exclusive FPS title. If you don't like FPS, then you should buy a PS3, because there are almost no non-FPS exclusives for the 360 that you would want to own.
You left off some PS3 ones also, but people already addressed that.
Unrelatedly, Disgaea sucks. At least, the PS3 one does. It is a complete satire of the JRPG genre, but it is so far over the top that it is not actually enjoyable.
@LogicX: Not too late to put that 360 on craigslist and get a PS3

Thats why you pay for it.
So microsoft can hire people, to remove the complete and utter retards, from our gaming experience.
You can get banned/suspended on PSN as well. Its just that Xbox live has way more stringent rules. Which makes PSN more like the rest the rest of the internet (no holds barred:p). But in all honesty I see less juvenile behavior on PSN than I do in Xbox games like Halo.

I would still want the game though. Either way I want to play it. It just sucks that they are screwing me over to try and make more money. Microsoft is the problem because they are doing ****y things to their customers.

Microsoft isn't screwing with its customers. It's plainly stated, in quite a few places, and usually by associates when you buy the systems, that the Arcade system doesn't have enough memory to do anything of consequence and that you'll have to buy a hard drive. This is a result of not doing the research.
Honestly. This is like buying a slim PS3 and Shadows of the Colossus and then posting a thread complaining that the PS3 isn't backwards compatible.
I agree with everything Nai has said. You can't blame Microsoft for you not properly researching the product you are about to buy. Also, 60$ a year isn't that much to pay to have the best online experience available.
May I ask why you DIDN'T buy a PS3? You must have researched it before buying an Xbox.

No, I researched it and found out that flash drives could be used for extra memory. I figured I could just use a couple 8 gig flash drives that I already own and not have any problems. Why on earth would I think that microsoft would require you to have a hard drive, not because you need more memory, but just for the sake of having to buy one? I have more than enough memory. But microsoft decided to screw me over. Not my fault.

As I stated above, I did research it and concluded that 16 gigs would be more than enough for a few game saves every now and then. I never planned on big downloads, only game saves. So yes I did do the research, stop claiming I am an impulse buyer.
I went with the 360 because all my friends have them and I wanted to play online with them.
I kinda feel the same way as the OP, I've stopped buying XBL time and only use it for offline play. I only played sporadically online anyways. Wasn't worth the $$$.

In LogicX's defence, the multiplayer aspect of having an HD isnt exactly advertised very well. Much of the time it only mentions the need of a Hard drive for back wards compatibility. On many website descriptions of the Arcade like gamestop, it mentions needing a memory device for XboxLive play, either a HD or a memory card. Which is a bit misleading. Not sure what it says on the actual box about this matter. sure he could of done more research but having read aforementioned caveats of not having an HD, one could see how he could have thought only a memory card might be OK for his needs.
What he should've done was talk to his Xbox friends first. An Xbox owner would more than likely have warned him of this.
