I came just a month too late, the make of these cards is gone, and has seemingly vanished from the internet.
I need the internet's help, if anyone at all knows who purchased this, I need to know, I was very hard set on acquiring all of drake Tsui's planeswalker artwork, and this is the last one I need.
Is that the "sticker" guy? If so he got a C&D order from Wizards.
Are you looking for the seller, the artist, or the buyer?
Someone who has this card, or whoever purchased it. I need it to completely my collection of the Drake Tsui Cards, it was really disappointing to find that I was lacking this art, after hearing the news.

Unless the buyer themselves comes forward... You're not going to find them...
Ebay doesn't like outside-of-ebay transactions, and thusly locating a buyer of someone else's auction is near impossible.

Well, I suppose it never hurts to dream (or in this case fantasize).
Dream #1: A person that purchased said copyright infringed card will see this post.
Dream #2: That person will be willing to sell the card with a printed out sticker stuck to it (not original art), even though he can't get them anymore and likes sexualized planeswalkers.
Having a complete collection of Drake Tsui cards is like having a complete collection of STDs.

These days, some wizards are finding they have a little too much deck left at the end of their $$$.

I'm not following how copyright was infringed here, if indeed the card was altered. Alters do not infringe copyright. As the name implies, it is only infringed when something is copied, not modified.

Except these are not traditional alters. The "artist" takes an established MTG IP then sexies it up (in some cases quite a bit), then makes it the size of a card and prints it on to a sticker. The sticker is then placed on an existing copy of the card. He can print off as many as he pleases and sells them on ebay.
Traditional alters are unique works of art in an of themselves where an owned card is added to, these are far from that. The sad thing is that several others are aping this model and are selling the same type of product. This one is sleazy as hell, but at least it is not mimicking the original art so blatantly. EDIT: I take it back, they are awfull and I hope they get the same letter that the other guy did.
You know, with just about any printer made in this millennium and like 50$ of supplies from an office supply store you can make as many of these as you want.

Wild exaggeration. The last two printers I have owned have not had the color separation or saturation to print out color proxies at full quality. Not to mention these are done on a thin foil sticker material, when is even harder for printers to handle. It is just not that easy, or that cheap- you are looking at almost $50 for ink alone in most places. The trickiest part is getting a high enough quality scan since the original "artist" has gone dark.
Of course I would not try to make these cards because I could never play them face up in any setting without being uncomfortable.

Then you got crappy printers Any color laser printer you could buy at Staples right now for ~$250-$300 could crank out high quality stickers no sweat.
And there's no ink on earth that costs $50 to print one card, unless it has gold or the blood of Kiss mixed in with it.
You are right that the hardest part would be getting a high enough quality scan to get a really sharp image.

I'll hold myself to this. I'll get fancy dishes and everything.

$250+ is not what I would consider "just about any printer made in this millennium", even by sarcasm standards. Also Laser printers are terrible for color separation and saturation. They are getting better, and can handle simple business color needs, but Inkjet is still the best at handling photo quality art.
And there's no ink on earth that costs $50 to print one card, unless it has gold or the blood of Kiss mixed in with it.
No, but you have to make sure you have the ink to begin the process, and you would be surprised how quickly you go through those cartridges.
a lot of those cards are very distasteful but I think the jace one is actually kind of pretty. I would never pay any amount of money for such an alter though.
I find these "alters" to be very obnoxious, mostly because these are copyrighted pieces of art that they steal, don't give any credit, and just print out. I wouldn't mind if they paid and credited the artist who did the art, but from what it looks like they just take other people's art and sell them without permission.
It looks like they actually have credited one artist, the Jace they are selling has an artist name. So, that doesn't really bug me. But none of the other cards are credited, and I've seen pieces of art that were blatantly ripped off from various art forums that I frequent.

I don't know what printers you are looking at, but consumer grade lasers for sale right now completely trounce inkjets in color reproduction. Not even close. I have both and the difference is night and day.
The only consumer printer technology that beats laserjet is solid ink printers, and they are in the $600+ range at the low end. And even solid ink cartridges don't cost $50, they're more in the $40 range, and they print a LOT more than one card

I have a 90$ printer that is 5 years old and Ive made probably close to 100 of these "alters" for my cube/EDH and they look amazing. If you count ink, and the raw materials, it costs about 1-2$ per card and takes about an hour to make 9 of them.
I realize he is printing onto the actual card he is "altering" while I just made proxies on a blanked foil, but the process is essentially the same. His way just involves cutting out the empty space the text of the original card goes it.
I am sorry, but I have zero respect for anyone that pays someone else money for something that's 1. easy to do, 2. illegal to sell (copyright infringement) and lastly just plain weird (anime boob dragons?).

If you really need to see a girl that bad I'd recommend getting married.
Alternatively you could kidnap a girl off the street and chain her up in your basement and force her to play Magic with you.
When you're arrested and taken to court if the Judge asks you for your statement just remember to say 'Still a better love story than Twilight'
