Note: the reason for the changes is because I rebuild the deck from the ground up. So far, I'm missing some of the cards. In addition, I experiment some of the old cards that I removed few months ago because I want to add more spot removal to certain critters.
Game 1: Keeping my hand going 2nd. Turn 1 goes Fastbond, then 3 lands, then signet and suspended Ancestral Vision. His turn 2 is dropping a land. My turn 2 is Boseiju which is my 6th mana... His turn 3 is Food Chain. My turn 3 is Havenwood etb land. His turn 4 is just a land drop. My turn 4 is casting MW using Crytal Vein's double mana and cascading Mind Stone and Whipflare and hit him for 7... he got et Fact or Fiction and revealing witness, solemn, land, personal tutor and Repulse... I choose solemn and an island... he choose the solemn. Turn 5 is dropping his creatures grabbing a land. My turn 5 is Ancestral Vision drawing 4 cards... I then cast Wildfire and he concede
Game 2: I lose because I only have 1 land....
Game 3: Turn 1 is land, turn 2 is library, turn 3 is dropping crystal veins and Chromatic Lantern. He used Relic of Progenitus to exile my land in the grave. His turn 4 is cast Venser bouncing my Lantern but I responded by casting Mystical Tutor nabbing Skyshroud Claim... which then use it to cast it grabbing 2 forests and dropping Coldsteel Heart. This time, that's where he did out of turn move... oh well.... my turn. I drop a land and cast MW then he then complain how broken Sylvan Library really is.... telling me that it broke the game ranting me all the way.
Game: Mull to 6... dropping a land... turn 2, dropping a land then Explore then another land. His turn 2 and turn 3 is Dauthi Horror attacking and casting Urborg Emissary. My turn 3 is land and casting Electrolyze both of his creatures. He concede

Game: Our turn 2s are dropping lands. I missed my turn 3 land... but on his turn 4 is using Ice to tapped his Command Tower... he end turn after dropping a land. I dropped my 3rd Rishadan Port land on my turn 4... which I kept using it to tapped his Command Tower. He missed his land and just use Mutavault to hit me. I got my 4th land... and end turn... kept tapping his Command Tower. Then he hit me with 2/2. I finally got my forest and cast my Three Visits grabbing Tropical Island which I cast my Jace 2.0 which he counter it with Mana Tithe. He finally cast GAAIV but I kill it with Mizzium Mortars after dropping a land. I just use my remaining untapped lands to tap his command tower (he has 5 lands in all) and ending his turn. My turn is dropping Simic Signet. I tapped his Tower again and he end turn. I finally got to cast my MW and cascading Electrolyze and then Temporal Manipulation which he cast Negate on it. He cast Future Sight (tapping all of it). I won with Kessig Wolf Run damage +7 damage.
Game: Went first. Turn 1 fetch then Ancestral Vision. My turn 3 is Wasteland on his Watery Grave. Turn 4 is Wood Elves grabbing his 4th land... Turn 4 is Ancestral Vision which I drew 4 cards in all dropping Fastbond and more lands and then using Skyshroud Claim to grab 2 more lands and dropping another land from my hand to cast Kodama's Reach which I dropped an additional land (from reach) and end turn. His turn goes to Kodama's Reach and end turn. I dropped Gilded Lotus and cast MW for Cryptic Command and Electrolyze then hit him for 7. his turn is casting Child. My turn is bouncing Child with Rift, cast Garruk making a token and hit him for 10. He cast Child again... I made another token and hit him... he block with Child and thus killing every nonland permanent. I cast Three Visits and recasting MW for Fact or Fiction and then Fractured Power Stone. Casting Frost Titan (from FoF) and he cast Wrecking Ball on MW... his turn is casting Oblivion Stone. I forced him to activate it because he's down to 2 and I have Frost Titan... everything ends when I have Fire//Ice.
Per our discussion and Asimov's input, we know some sort of flashback combo variant caught the attention of a few folks in France. Do you think it's some sort of Past in Flames+Walks in addition to the regular plan or something totally different?
That and a really high storm count for Mind's Desire which is a really good tech. Since it didnt made it to the top 16, it hasn't been optimized.
Been busy with stuff and made some score points... Unfortunately, the report is here and there because the gameplay has been erased before I get the chance to write a summary.

It's actually quite simple as to why you'd combine Cascade, Storm, and Flashback in one deck. To make a functional shell using these mechanics is an entirely different matter though. Hopefully you and everyone else will have a little more time to test. There's a Duel Commander tournament starting up in my area weekly, so I really want to work and innovate for MW.
I thought creature and Goodstuff were the same and Valakut is its own? I'm using an Oath shell to start because I love that card, but I'm seeing if I can use it as an enabler for Flasback into Time Walks and other PiF shennanigans later in the game when on its own it's not as gamebreaking.
Ah, I don't think I've seen a creature heavy build other than Elfball before, do you have a link? I'm still working on a list but I'll probably be testing it starting next week if you're interested.
I just saw and played it on Cockatrice... It's a build but not really a threat to me.
I don't have a quote in my signature, but I do now, ahaha. So theory crafting, the way it seems a deck like MW would generate tons of extra mana is through Early Harvest and lots of basic land ramp spells vs. the classic mana rocks.
I'm guessing the significance of Flashback is that you can tutor for the good FB spells like PiF and Mystic Retrieval or when you Cascade into them you generate a lot of CA as you can double up a turn later. I'm guessing you blend the extra mana into a Cascade then into some sort of use of FB with extra turns and Mind's Desire to create your win, whether it be from extra turns, a Scapeshift/Omen (which I've been theory crafting on as a two card extra package).
Not sure which other cards can go with Early Harvest and Rude Awakening, but I haven't had a chance to comb through cockatrice too much yet.
So after the first round of testing it's still quite rough. I took out a lot of mana rocks for extra basics, a couple extra basic land ramp spells, and three untap effects. Cascades I find are a bit better because the spell vs. rock/ramp density isn't as high, but Mind's Desire has been lacking. The untap effects however have been really fun to use along with the FB cards like Mystic Retrieval and PiF.
I would definitely have to cut a lot of sweepers (not all) to make room... Not sure if Wafa's list has creatures like PT or something completely different.
I've gone to 4 sweepers (Slagstorm, Fallout, Clasm, Tide). The effects I haven't wanted are the Wildfires and Upheaval as you want the lands around at every point of the game as a quick kill con too. It's definitely been interesting exploring a new style of this deck. Cascade and Storm are cards that naturally cheat on mana, putting them together on its surface seems like a monster of a combination.
Game 1: I went second and keeping my hand. Turn 1 is dropping a land then Personal Tutor for Explore. His Turn 2 is another land. My turn 2 is dropping 2 lands with explore. His turn 3 is land then Chromatic. My turn 3 is Wasteland his Volcanic Island and dropping 2 rocks. Turn 4 he cast Kodama's Reach. I only did Farseek then Rishadan Port his lands. He won with Tooth and Nail kicked.
Game 2: Went first dropping a land then Suspsend Vision. Turn 2 is my land then Farseek. Turn 3 is land then a rock then Explore then another land. His turn 3 is just Somberwald Sage. Turn 4 is a land then MW for Mystical Tutor then for Burning of Xinye.
Game 3: His turn 2 is 2nd land while mine is Oath. Our Turn 3 just a land drop. His turn 4 is BBE and casting Loaming Shaman, My turn 4 Oath for Phyrexian Metamorph on BBE then using Mystical Tutor for the extra turn which I use it to drop Tezz then Lotus Bloom and dropping my LED. His 5th turn is just Gilded Lotus. My turn 5 is dropping Thran Dynamo, City of Traitors (6 lands in all) then casting Time Spiral which I wasted my LED for 3 extra mana. Using those extra mana and untapped lands to cast Cryptic Command for bouncing his lotus and tapping his BBE. Then casting MW for PT then Life from the Loam and hit him with everything I have (3 creatures total). He concede even he activate Oath (I have trample land).
Game 1: I got turn 1 Fastbond but only total of 4 mana... His turn 1 is Kozilek discarding my Worn Powerstone. My turn 2 is total of 6 mana. Once I got my 8th mana, I cast MW immdiately for Personal Tutor for Time Spiral which he countered it. He managed to get Scapeshift which he used it for 20/20 Marit Lage. I dropped MW for Grim Monolith and Skyshroud Claim. I lost because he got that 20/20. My Mistake is I should've cast Devastation when his land is still tapped.
Game 2: Lost because I only have 1 land
Game 3: I got turn 1 Mirri... then I managed to cast MW... for Mystical Tutor for... Burning of Zinye... long story short I lost because of the Jace 2 (with Maze of Ith stopping my attack) and a 20/20. My mistake is that I should've tutor for Time Spiral because he's tapped out.
Game 4: I got turn 2 Oath... I got PT then the following turn Inferno... he concede
Game 1: She got turn 3 Azusa which I got turn 2 rock. She later dropped Akroma's Memorial which dropped me to 22. I cast MW for Personal Tutor for Devastation.
Game 2: Mull to 5... he got turn 2 dorks... which I got turn 2 rock and Mirri's Guile. He dropped Steelhellkite... I don't have anything to protect my rocks from him
Game 3: He got turn 3 Azusa dropping 2 more lands. I have to kill his forest (with Utopia Sprawl) to buy some time. I have to concede because I just drop lands while he hit me with Chameleon Colossus and then Kozilek.
Game 4: I got turn 2 Nature's Lore. He got turn 2 Azusa dropping 2 more lands. i got turn 3 Kodama's Reach for 5 lands total. He dropped Acidic Slime dropping to 4 lands. Which I cast Skyshroud Claim to gain up to 6 lands then a rock. I cast Temporal for extra turn... then cast rock and MW (with LED) for Volcanic Fallout and Beast Within his Thawing Glaciers. Then he hit me with Lignify but I managed to drop another rock which total my mana to 9. He cast Worldly Tutor for PT which he then cast. I got 10 mana in all for another recast. He dropped Eye of Ugin but decided not to attack. I cast Devastation which only leaves my 3 rocks and one of them if Guardian Idol for 2 damage every turn. He's down to 13 (me at 19) and he dropped Craterhoof Behemoth and decided not to attack (because I got 10 mana in all). I cast MW for the 2nd time for Coldsteel Heart and Worn Powerstone then I attack which he blocked. He then cast Regal Force then Llanowar Elf... then I recast MW for Talisman of Impulse then Wildfire killing his land. I attack then he blocked with Force (he's 5/5 with 4 damage from Wildfire). He cast Rofellos. I just swing him with Idol again. I recast MW again for Tezz and Chromatic Lantern. He concede.
Game 5: I lost because I'm not fast enough to cast MW... not to mention he got Karn out early.
Game 1: He dealt me enough damage and I saved myself with Upheaval which then I dropped a land and a Chromatic Lantern. He got Geist out.. I got MW for Grim Monolith and Three Visits, then I cast Frost Titan and tapping his lands. He got Cataclysm out which leaves me with Thran Dynamo and MW (and life at 12). He just dropped a lot of weenies but decided not to attack. I got Prime Time which he concede.
Game 2: I got Parallax Tide locking me my mana... once it's gone, he cast Ravages of War...
Game 3: He got turn 1 Land Tax. I got turn 2 ramp... then turn 3 lantern... then he cast Cataclysm. I managed to get 2 more mana more than his. He cast Rafiq and I responded with Fact or Fiction (Cryptic Command, Beast Within AND Mind Stone, Wasteland, Sulfur Falls in those piles). I dropped my 4th land but I dropped Everflowing Chalice for 3 counters and then Mind Stone. He hit me for 12 damage (aura and stuff). I cast MW for Eternal Witness for a Beast Within and then cascading All is Dust. I dropped Wasteland (he has now 4 lands remaining) and hit him for 7 then casting Nature's Lore for Tropical Island. He dropped Silhana Ledgewalker and O-Ring on my Chalice. I cast Volcanic Fallout and hit him for 7 boss damage. He then concede.
Turn 2 Oath... when he got turn 2 Sword of Feast and Famine which he has Silverblade Paladin with Elvish Mystic soulbonded which he's equipped with the sword. He got Sigarda with the swords. I've managed to get all of my creatures out... close game too.

I recast it again and I cast Personal Tutor and cast Temporal Mastery... which he cast Swords to Plowshares... during my extra turn I recast MW for Fact or Fiction with 3 lands, Garruk in pile and the other pile is Cryptic Command which I choose the former... unofrtunately, I got Time Spiral which resets our hand. I swing and he kills it with Snuff Out... I use my new hand to drop Tezzeret (use for untap), Grim Monolith and Jace... which I drop Explore, 2 more lands and a signet. During my end turn, he dropped Restoration Angel. He dropped Sorin 2.0 for the boost emblem and kill my Jace and swing at me using Obz. During my turn, I dropped Gilded Lotus and recast mw for the 4 the time casting Fact or Fiction for 3 lands in pile and Overflowing Chalice and All is Dust in the other. I chose the lands. My other spell is Wildfire. I use MW to kill his Sorin. He dropped Obz again and i'm down to 6. I swing again but he cast Path to Exile.... I recast MW again.. for LED and Coldsteel Heart. I finally cast Library. I won with Kessig Wolf Run pump.
Game 2: Wildfire his 4 lands even if he Sword to Plowshare MW.... plus I cascade Lotus Bloom for additional mana race.
Game 3: Life from the Loam mvp against Lilianna which I kept recurring Wasteland even though I only have 2 lands... even if she use her ultimate, I can bring back my stuff with LftL.
Game 1: Went second kept a full hand with 3 lands, LftL, 2 signets and All is Dust... I drew Fastbond and drop all except a signet and AiD which produces 6 mana. He dropped his 2nd mana. My 2nd turn is dredging LftL and dropping 3 lands and a signet. He just drop his 3rd land. I cast MW for Sylvan Lib which he cast Mana Leak and Jace for 2nd Cascade... he concede.

Concerning Wafo's list: I've got most of that in my list outside of Skred and the Foresight. The card that stands out most to me is Manamorphose. Filtering, draw, contributing to storm but it is rarely separated from Rituals isn't it? I've added Rituals to see how they work since there's the Past in Flames and FB package in there and I've been happy with the result. In a match against Wanderer Goodstuff he could never get the math right as I had rituals to get ahead consistently, and it allowed me to start combo'ing with Increasing Vengeance and the untap effects.
You pretty much run all of those cards? The only thing that I didn't expect is that Heartbeat card. It's safe to assume that he also runs Mana Reflection.
Yeah. I couldn't think of a way to generate mana outside of mana rocks but Heartbeat/Mana Flare. Since the deck looked like it ramped with basics a lot they fit naturally. Without Wildfire effects the only sweepers that would really work are All is Dust and Devastation Tide.
Not entirely sure... I'm thinking of using rocks to get things going. Just my experience with Jester's Melek is what led me to my own conclusion. Minisweepers is safe to be there... and adding Melek himself doesn't hurt either in addition to Worldly Tutor ... after revamping the list... I just need 30 or so cards to fill in the gaps.
Yeah, I kept Pyro/Slag/Fallout. Can I have a link to this Melek list? I started with Lotus+Dynamo+Signets but gradually switched them all out to focus on land based ramp and mana generation +4 Rituals.
I switched away from oath and am trying Tribe Elder, Oracle of Mul Daya, and Sad Robot. Also might try an Omen+Shift since I'm testing out Omen anyway.
Based on my experience with them... both version of the decks can outdo each other...

He got his land and cast his boss. I cast my boss then dropped a signet and didn't cast my Oath. He got Obz back and I just lost 7 life. But i sac it with High Market. I recast it again and I cast Personal Tutor and cast Temporal Mastery... which he cast Swords to Plowshares... during my extra turn I recast MW for Fact or Fiction with 3 lands, Garruk in pile and the other pile is Cryptic Command which I choose the former... unofrtunately, I got Time Spiral which resets our hand. I swing and he kills it with Snuff Out... I use my new hand to drop Tezzeret (use for untap), Grim Monolith and Jace... which I drop Explore, 2 more lands and a signet. During my end turn, he dropped Restoration Angel. He dropped Sorin 2.0 for the boost emblem and kill my Jace and swing at me using Obz. During my turn, I dropped Gilded Lotus and recast mw for the 4 the time casting Fact or Fiction for 3 lands in pile and Overflowing Chalice and All is Dust in the other. I chose the lands. My other spell is Wildfire. I use MW to kill his Sorin. He dropped Obz again and i'm down to 6. I swing again but he cast Path to Exile.... I recast MW again.. for LED and Coldsteel Heart. I finally cast Library. I won with Kessig Wolf Run pump.

I'm trying to remember the cards that he played.
Aside from Rocks, he has a couple of extra turns...Brainstorm, Banefire (I suggested that card because he raised a really high mana count but nothing else to use that turn), Personal, Windfall and Mystical Tutor, Ponder, Preordain and some ritual cards (Pyretic Ritual and Desperate Ritual). Not sure how many sweepers he run.
Oh, he uses High Tide... I have a reason to run Prismatic Omen.
And often enough, he mainly using infinite turns loop where he just loop his grave and stuff. I'll look for that list.
