Unless enchantress converts from GWr to GRw, I don't see chained to the rocks being remotely relevant in enchantress. They already have soul snare and they don't use it. Will have to wait for more spoilers to see if enchantress will get a significant boost from theros.

"Yawgmoth," Freyalise whispered as she set the bomb, "now you will pay for your treachery."
SCG seems to have raised the price of Natural Order back up to it's all time high of $40. It's $10 cheaper on TCG, but why the upward trend again after the downward spiral it took for the past year+ ?
I harvested all the NM serras sanctum at TCG. Hope it gives me money back!
Well, I guess your action had the effect you desired because there are only ten copies of Serra's Sanctum on TCGPlayer right now, with a median price of $37.
Considering Serra's Sanctum on the reserve list, is there really no ceiling to this? I think it would be safe to say that this card won't be going down under 20$ again. If anything this will be the explosion this very board was speculating a month before any sort of spoilers and the card didn't budge in price.
Is this really a surprise?
That being said, if you can pick up any copies under 20$ I'd say go for it, even SP-MP versions are now 30$.
Could hit $100 easily, look at Gaea's Cradle at $150 so all it takes is a few cards to make this similar. One drop enchantments, couple with G/W alright pretty viable, and White being better than Green in Legacy (overall to my knowledge); and you have what you are seeing. Heck, alongside Cradle you can dump your hand because creatures are enchantments now.
@The last 3 posters: I like how ONE person buying out a few copies on TCGPlayer makes it seem like the card jumped 2x overnight Again - tcgplayer is not the end-all, be-all of mtg card supply.

It isn't but, unless you look very hard, I don't think this card will be seeing 20$, heck even the sub 20$ it was before. It is on the restricted list, im sure an enchantment block will put out even a couple decent enchantments to keep a card like this in the 50-100$ category.

Agreed that it's not going under $20 again. The card only gets more support as years go on. BUT, there is a ceiling because Enchantress decks are not universally popular in EDH. Cradle goes into any green EDH deck. That's the primary driver behind why I think Cradle will always be much more expensive than Sanctum (and I own a Sanctum but not a Cradle, so I like to think I'm being objective).
Neither Legacy Enchantress nor Legacy Elves are Tier 1, but I'd rate Elves higher than Enchantress in viability at the moment. I don't think either one are the driving factor behind their respective legendary lands, though Elves gives cradle more push than Enchantress gives Sanctum.
It's a cascade effect. People and the tcg stores see the copies dwindling and the stores up their prices and continue until players stop buying them. Then the players go and buy out the online stores and the prices jump; and the process starts over once another impetus implements like deck results, store speculation, and astonishingly enough forums like these. Look at Humility gained $10 recently on starcity and it didn't move up on tcg nor any other site.I don't think they were bought out. It appears they do their own speculation.
I would pick up Sanctum at under $30, it might not double again soon but in the long run it's always going to gain value.

WOW. The price doubled on TCG...that's crazy. :/
I picked up a copy at Dragon Con for $20, and I was quite ecstatic to find one at that price, since I was hoping to get in on this before it rose. The store clerk there said he also had a Korean copy as well, but I didn't really want to spend more on them. Mostly picked up an english one because I love lands.
I feel like the price on Sanctum is mostly hype, especially due to the boards talking about it. At the same time though, I don't see why a card on the Reserved List would realistically lower in price (by any significant margin).

Should I have picked up more copies? I really don't feel like this is a card to like, go "all-in" on, but should I aim towards picking up a play set?
As impressive as the card may be, it feels kinda narrow.
Reprints the one card that people point to when saying that art objectifies women.
Well done Wizards.
Liliana does not objectify women in any way at all. We have gotten to a point in our society that every single picture of a women must be objectifying a women in some negative way......blah blah blah.. That is not the case. (((Sarcasm)))Picture of a girl drinking a milk shake, must be sex related and putting women down, picture of girl sitting on a beach, picture of a girl driving a car, picture of a girl on the moon at a new space station.)))
You have a picture of an attractive strong power women who girls dress up as for anime conventions. What more do you want? The picture is fine, happy to see a reprint. Sick of of seeing people claim that everything in existence must be putting women down. Then all I have to do is replace the word "women" with anything else to get the same mentality; fish, cats, arabs, blacks, jews, men, environment, whites, chinese, old people, etc. It doesn't matter what word I put in. Stop sucking life out of everything man. That artwork of her is awesome. Stop putting stuff down man. Just stop. If the picture was really as negative as you claim she would totally nude, in a kitchen, making sandwiches and giving blow jobs. Her abilities would be horrible as well. +1 do nothing -2 do nothing -6 do nothing. Instead liliana of the veil is an amazing planeswalker comparable to jace, the mind sculpter with great art to appreciate.
My suggestion listen to some comedy radio for a while, pandora is free, youtube is free there is something out there for you. ***** go make fun of somebody. The whole world is so serious and campaigning for some cause, or someones rights, everything is a hate crime, racist, sexist. blah blah blah.
"O no mcdonalds must be slandering a hate crime against skinny people every time they make a big mac." hahaha jeeze You're just someone perpetuating another groups negative perspective that they've made you believe is correct. Look at the picture for a hour and tell me what's wrong with it? I don't see anything.
I have heard vague rumors of a moustache-dispensing vending machine in a distant laundromat, across the street from a tattoo parlor. However, this information is shaky, and time is of the essence.

You are being too careful. If people want to get old cards like these get them now. They will always go up and you will get your money back. This a broken card, it just doesn't have a home and there aren't enough cards supporting it. It is only one or two cards away from complete abuse; and look at City of Traitors, it gives two management but this is close to being at least that being close to number two to Cradle.e
***Ebay will now dictate the new true market value of serras sanctum. At whatever amount the highest bidder buys, that is more or less the new price range, Until SCG posts their updated "price"

I just finished my playset of Serra's Sanctum, but I have to say the following:
1) Serra's Sanctum is nowhere near as good as Gaea's Cradle (unless the latter gets banned)
2) Green is the second best color in Legacy

I actually believe in what you said. Ill be happy of the price of Sanctum will be stable at 60.

Depends on what you want to do with them. If you want to use them, I wouldn't wait any longer, the price already doubled.
If you want to flip them, well...heh, think the ship has sailed, if you can find them under 30, then pick them up, but even those copies will start drying up. Like other users and even I myself has said, there only needs to be a couple good enchantments for it to find a home from fringe to viable. In an enchantment block I would certainly hope there's one such enchantment.
These cards are the cards to go "all-in" on specifically because they are on the restricted list, and they are competitive viable. If you're looking for pure value, such as dual lands, FoW, ect. Now that it's price memory will probably keep it high for a good while, even in the long run, it's still on the restricted list. Unless wizards breaks that rule, which I think they have said over the years a few times, that they never would. It will continue to gain value with every enchantment support.
I just finished my playset of Serra's Sanctum, but I have to say the following:

I don't think SS is as good as Cradle, or close to it. It's not going to be even good till the right enchantments come out, that is a matter of time. By that time Cradle could be banned and this will be the best land in Legacy. This speculation but if you look at the trrends, theselands in Legacy always go up.
As far as White being not as good in green. It makes sense since Green has cradle, so what does that say for Sanctum? It's just a matter of time.
I hope Cradle doesn't get banned and this follow suit.

Cradle at 150$ is exageration. The no haggle spot price for a mint Gaeas cradle is around 100usd.
Yeah completed listings for cradle put it around 100 on ebay. Sure BiN's are that high on cradle, but if you just bid for it you'll get it for around 100 rather easily because elves is not performing that well in legacy.
There are still a lot of cards left to spoil in theros block. If enchantress doesn't receive a significant boost throughout all of theros block I will be genuinely surprised. surprised

I don't think so. The "enchant" mountain part really hurts it, especially when 90% of lands are duals and wasteland is a card.
