Trent Richardson traded to the Colts for their 1st round pick
Might be a dumb question, but when does Richardson go to the Colts? Just asking because I have Ahmad Bradshaw and don't want to play him if he'll be sitting on the bench all game.

He'll report immediately but how much PT he'll see is a ? because he doesnt know the playbook. Now its a little easier for a RB to come in under such circumstance when compared to other skill positions, but.....

Umm.... right now. He is a a Colt. I assume he will have to pass a physical and stuff before it is completely legit, but I think it's safe to assume he is the Colt's new #1 running back.
I woke up and heard this news on the radio, but I brushed it off thinking I was still kind of "out of it" and misheard the news. After gathering my senses... WTF?
A wee bit early for the Browns to be packing it in, isn't it? I mean... he was pretty much the only exciting thing going for them right now...
I'm curious if maybe he didn't fit a new "culture" the Browns are trying to implement (i.e. does he have a poor work ethic?, show up late?, etc.). I don't know.. just tossing around some ideas; consider me confused.

(about the English language) It's kinda like a raft that was cobbled together from parts of three different boats and since then has been kept barely afloat with crude repairs every time a leak appeared.
Everything checked out with the scoring. I ended up with the W though, because our tie breaker form the league is highest qb slot points. And Brees had 15 for me. If our QBs were tied, then the overall score is a tie.
Playoffs will keep going on different checks though, to determine a winner.

I heard an interview with a local Cleveland beat writer. The Browns need too many pieces, including a franchise QB right not. Their oline is mediocre so it doesnt really matter who is running the ball (and they like their back up). I suspect this move is to address both of those issues. New coach. New GM. Time to get the guys they want

They won't be in town long enough to get the guys they want, and then it'll be on to the next fire sale and rebuild.
All I have to say is thank goodness I forgot the Chiefs played last night. I was thinking of putting their defense on the bench, but, for some reason, thought I had until Sunday to decide. I'd say my mistake worked out fine for me.
I'm still really surprised by the Richardson trade, but it makes more and more sense now that I think about it. The Browns need to rebuild now. The NFL is set up so that teams that have abysmal seasons can rebound almost instantly the next season with the right draft picks, coaches, and free agent pickups. A 1-15 season doesn't mean much if it means a better chance of having winning seasons down the road.
It just seems strange that the same player the Browns traded up to draft in the first place is the same player they quickly get rid of.
They are both 2nd in the depth chart, but both are expected to have quite a few touches today. My query is in who I start. Bell has the easier match-up, but Pierce just feels like the better overall player, although I feel both are equal-ish.
Tough call - but I've seen more than a few cases where it was rumored or said a player would sit due to "injury" just to have them play. Something to consider when it's said Reggie Bush won't play. Rice is pretty much a for sure not-gonna-play.

Rice is out, and I can say that with pure confidence. even if it causes us to lose, I'd rather be 1-2 than have an more seriously injured Ray Rice.
I think I may go for Bell as WSH run D is very bad and I feel like its a safe choice. Even if Reggie plays, Bell will get touches and is liable to get good points.
I'll probably decide around 12:59pm EST more than likely still.
Damn, this Giants game is really killing me Eli Manning's been sacked like 5 times already, and Tom Brady has 12 points just sitting on my bench I have 3 Giants on the roster today, I'm holding out for a comeback
On the other hand- Trent Richardson or Ahmad Bradshaw today? I also have Knowshon Moreno and Ryan Mathews. Right now I think I'm gonna play Bradshaw and Moreno, but was looking for a few more opinions.

If you have Brady on your bench, you deserve to lose
I have Reggie Bush on my starting Lineup (yeah, went to the beach and forgot to bench him...) and I also have James Jones and Jermichael Finley in my team. Among the 3, I had 0 points for most of the first half and now I have 2.2 points thanks to Jones. I'm hoping the rest of the team carries me, but I don't feel confident....
I probably deserve it, but I don't want to be the one to lose to a team whose highest score so far is 55 Also anyone for my running back question?
fair lol
BTW, just found out that finley has a concussion... just my luck. I have a 7 player team, this week...
Still ahead though. I have one more guy in play, so I'm just going to take a screenshot before the rest of his guys come into play and call it a win
I benched Finley for Brandon Myers because someone told me here the Panthers have a bad secondary and I was a bit worried about his toe injury still.

Joique bell has been very good for me as an extra running back. I actually use him over Mendenhall right now.
...and what the flip? We won in DC???????
I was flip-flopping on running Bell
Needless to say, I am pleased with yesterday
To draw a comparison:
Bell is to Pierce as Bush is to Rice. Rice and Bush are great starting RB's right now, but unlike some others, the guys right behind them can do a pretty good job.
While too late to matter, I sat Richardson. My reasoning was that he joined a new team, had 4 days of trying to learn the book and was facing San Fran's defense. I took my chances on Bell and Pierce. Next Week, Richardson will be starting for me again, but it seemed follish this week.

Nah, they just pulled an 0-2 drop. no biggie.
It makes me so proud to be a Clevelander. An eternal quest for one up-manship of trying to make the most awful football team on the planet.
On one hand, yes this was probably a "smart" move for the Browns. On the other hand they are probably going to draft Ryan Leaf with the pick they got.
Im guessing Taylor Lewan with their first pick and Aaron Murray with their second

Different owner/GM/coach when Richardson was drafted. The front office was completely gutted and restaffed this offseason
