I've been testing and liking Primeval Bounty in my list. It's great against anyone where the game is going to be longer. When every late game visionary comes with a 3/3 beast, every top decked Sprawl turns your Selkie into a 5/5 or better yet, grows and resets your Finks, and every fetch gains you 5 rather than losing 1, grindy games become a breeze.

I love the card.
Does it work with Genesis Wave? Like when it get ''cast'' via Genesis with a bunch of stuff?
.. this card could actually make Genesis Wave list better but I need to test and see if it's not just like Curio.

Also I fail too see where you could get into a game that last more than 6-7 turn with a good list.. and Primal Command sure is a better card but maybe both could be played together..
I've been trying to get a plow under deck going for so long. The problem is you need some form of tempo to make it work which you aren't getting if you're ramping to T4 (or 3 lol) plow. The other issue is what deck does it really set back? None. Jund can play this game better throwing down bob and goyf and covering with liliana.
Acid Moss on the other hand at least ramps you and improves your MD matchup vs scape and tron.

Out of the blackness and stench of the engulfing swamp emerged a shimmering figure. Only the splattered armor and ichor-stained sword hinted at the unfathomable evil the knight had just laid waste.
I guess my Domri's Wall deck idea was kind of a rip of this. With that said, a person mentioned card draw being an issue. I'm using a heavy creature deck and Domri Rade helps get gas. Kind of testing Druidic Satchel with her as well.
I'm not sure I like primeval bounty. The goal of the deck generally isn't to grind out matches, its to win quick. Sometyimes grinding out happens, but I would say its never plan A. To me this decks biggest problems are that of all ramp decks, drawing too much fat and no ramp, or too much ramp and no fat. Bounty doesn't really solve that, if you can cast you are usually winning the game in other ways.

Nope. Cast in magic means a very specific thing, if the card doesn't cast they aren't cast. The permanents from genesis wave are just put onto the battlefield without casting, it won't trigger bounty.
Also I fail too see where you could get into a game that last more than 6-7 turn with a good list.. and Primal Command sure is a better card but maybe both could be played together..
Its not plan A, but it does happen, especially against jund. The jund matchup can often turn into you casting must answers threats and forcing them to answer it. I do admit this is a must answer threat, but at the same time its also a very slow card. I find that I usually win the late game against jund, when I can get there. Its the games where they disrupt me a ton and drop a goyf that I can't win.
I could be wrong, but it feels a lot like a win more.
To be honest with you I would not play that card then.. because It's unneeded.. if it would had worked with Genesis Wave it could had been great.

MGD could see a LD variant.. but I don't know how good it would be.. like maybe slowing down the game is cool but it's inconsistent also you need to heavily splash red.

True of the creatures entering, but it does trigger off the lands entering with it. But yeah, if you're resolving wave, you should be winning. Jund and control lists are where it shines the most because yes, the matches boil down to sticking must answer threats. However, this particular threat is one most don't play answers to and wouldn't likely bring in against us even if they did. All of our other must answers are creatures or planeswalkers and are answered relatively easily, so just a few turns with Bob out and they may just have an answer for every single guy you cast. Not so if you're getting 2 at a time.
Against BGx I feel Harmonize/Primal Command/Eternal Witness makes the game turn into our favor really quickly simply because we don't care about their discard and it's a big part of their game plan.
We don't need additional answer.. also we could note list running Elvish Visionary/Selkie/Carven Caryatid simply don't even care about BGx shell.
We care even less about Dega.. trust me I've done enough testing against Dega User.

I haven't ground the matchup a ton, but I have played it a lot and I actually feel like jund is slightly in our favor. As walk said, Harmonize/Primal Command/Eternal Witness really does a number on them.
The problem with jund matches aren't when they go long, its when they strip your ramp, drop a goyf, then a lilli, and just destroy you before you can set up.
I would rather devote resources to winning those games than the ones I feel already favored in.
VV If you are casting primal command against jund you are in a good spot. The tough games are the ones where you never see 5 mana because their disruption and speed falls into place just so. Bounty isn't helping there.
For Goyf, simply remove the graveyard/gain 7 to stabilize or depending on the situation you can also search for a primeval and simply win in the following turn with Primeval + Kessig ..
Really BGx are an easy match up.
.. 8Rack and Smallpox are different because they run a lot more discard spells and they have many answer against every win condition.. but even there that card would not do much.. I rather have Baloth.
I don't know if I'm the only who thinks like that but in my opinion our biggest problem is that we are really draw dependent. It just happens too often that i need to mulligan to 6 or 5. I know a green Ponder won't happen:D but has anyone some opinions on that?
Sometimes I'm even thinking about going back to play 2-3 Abundant Growths. Or has anyone better suggestions?
In test matches I've had a lot of success with 2 Abundant Growths, helps smooth out those awkward hands where you JUUUST can't get the right mana thanks to all the G symbols. I cut it down to 1 in the deck since then, but it definitely does its job: smooths out mana, cycles the deck. Has made otherwise questionable hands keepable.

I have a bad memory, but the enchant that cost 1G give you a draw + 1 more mana?
This Enchant should be played over Abundant Growth imo, because it does the same job 1 draw + 1 devotion but actually ramp you and work with Garruk + Arbor.

Meh I was certain Fertile Ground also gave a Draw. My bad.
Would it be good to ramp into Death Cloud? There is a lot of good Black/Green creature to abuse for multi devotion.
Maybe looking into Multi Devotion with cards like Selkie/Boggart/BTE/DRS etc could be a nice way to cheat more color into our game plan.. but I am unsure what we could even need.. simple idea.
Against anyone who doesn't gain significant amounts of life (mostly everyone), we could just run Banefire. Wins right now, can't be countered or prevented.

After quite some testing with my Pod-Variant I think I can say that it makes our 8Rack matchup a alot better. Didn't get to play against them so often but I always felt like I had quite a Chance. 40/60 probably (I would even say that I feel it like 50/50 but that's probably because I had some luck here and there, too). If they get a really good draw it's still hard but with a pod out every creature you draw gets way more value. Every Arbor Elf can turn into a Scavenging Ooze, every Strangleroot Geist gives you either a Kitchen Finks or an Eternal Witness, too. Those become Huntmaster of the Fells into Thragtusk or Acidic Slime.
On the other hand I usually sideboard it out against Affinity or SplinterTwin because if we want to have a chance against them we need to be damn fast.
So if you plan on playing a bigger event with more toptier decks then Pod probably isn't the right card.
I'm gonna give the Primal Command builds another try.

I've been facing this deck in Daily tourneys lately with my 8Rack. (I have a few videos if anyone is interested in that match up analysis)
How is the Jund match with this deck? I would really love for something like this to be able to put some pressure on Jund.
What about your Tron match?
We have a favorable Jund Match up IMO. Harmonize/Eternal Witness/Primal Command is just that strong.
We have a good Matxh up against Tron.. we pretty much play the same type of deck and if he doesn't run U you win and if does you side in Summoning Traps and it's all good!

That be overkill but so much fun !
You ramp into a **** ton of mana just to destroy your opponent mana base!

You either have ramp without the draw (Fertile Ground) or fixing with a draw (Nylea's Presence).
