I actually steer clear of those forums because there are some pretty half baked ideas and theories floating around there. I'm not attacking anyone there but some of them actually like running Consume Spirit instead of Profane. Some of them run Phyrexian Totem while knowing what happens when a Tarfire is aimed at it and when you suggest Heart or Mindstone instead they freak out and flame you. Sorry but no thanks I won't take advice from that thread.
Yeah, they seem a little lax over there - running Plague Sliver, Funeral Charm and whatnot. I can understand those options for budget decks, but not for competitive decks.
Tendrils of Corruption is a little slow, but its impact is huge. That's also why this deck tries to run some quicker removal in terror/nameless inversion/sudden death.
Corrupt also isn't as good as we all want it to be.... but without Cabal Coffers, Dark Ritual and Cabal Ritual it's just to little to late most of the time. Against aggro it's a dead card until turn 4 minimum and on turn 6 you should be winning with either a Demigod + Warhammer or Korlash or a nice big Profane Command. I usually stare at Corrupt in my hand and wish it was just a Tendrils.
It's actually just as good as you want it to be. The question is if your deck is suitable to running it. Dark Ritual? Cabal Ritual? What do those have to do with Corrupt? It's an end game unlike any other. The rest of the deck has to compliment it. As in, it needs to be a control deck. Most MBC decks right now are actually midrange, NOT control. Just to clear that up. Why do you think that earlier list than ran 4 ran so much stall and removal?

Totem is actually still amazing, but I agree that those forums are a bit of a joke sometimes. The main problem with Totem is actually the number of random Mutavaults and flash creatures flying around. It's still an amazing card.
whats the best answer to R/G big mana? Maybe I just got really unlucky, but I couldn't beat the deck out of many test.
We can kill pretty much all their dudes, easily. We have evasion, and pretty good topdecks to boot. Not sure why you aren't winning. What cards are you mainly losing to in your testing? provide that and your decklist and perhaps we can better isolate why.

I haven't been running it long, so I might have made some miss plays at some point, but I had the most problem with the Commander. I also couldn't draw a Loxodon or BTQ for the life of me

Well, I run 4x thoughtseize- so I can nab SGC from the starting seven or any time before they cast him. once out, sudden death is perfect. or if they tap out for him, tendrils or damn him (block his 1/1s with your 1/1s, or just put a ham on bb tokens and swing the life back in your favor. if they burn 'em at least it wasn't burn to your dome.

Actually Corrupt and Dark Ritual are anti-synergistic. What is the point of laying down corrupt turn 4 when you have at most 4 swamps out.
Now talking about say Profane Command and Dark Ritual now you have some damn fine synergy.
Corrupt is a game ender and the only time I have ever cast it is when I had 6+ lands out anyways for maximum damage.
Obviously dark ritual has not been T2 for a long long time but don't kid yourself that corrupt loves that type of acceleration. Corrupt sure does love Korlash acceleration thats for sure.

I don't run dusk urchins at all - instead I run 3x mindstone. Let's me cut a land, while helping draw and accel. I run 2x hammers (1 to draw, 1 to btq) and 2x btq (though trying to cram a 3rd in there somewhere, probably in place of the 1x corrupt) so I suggest cutting neither. Sudden spoiling I like in the SB (4x) makes for better combat trades if they don't see it game one. Plus let's me play terror in the main (which also cheaply kill most of ramp's dudes).
if I were you i'd cut a BB & 2x tendrils for the remaining thoughtseizes and another btq. everything else looks fine. test that out and see if it still gives you fits.

But if all they do is burning down our lands, and we basically can get back any land we want, then sooner or later they will be out of gas, also they are probably not dealing us much dmg if they spend all their cards and mana to take out one of our lands each turn who just keeps coming back for free.
What do you guys do in regards to sideboarding against revlark? Obviously extripates and suddenspoiling go in, but what do we take out? profane command because of the higher mana cost and/or what else?
Well I suppose it depends of the build, my build runs terror and Sudden Death etc main deck as well as 3 BtQs so I would have enough removal to take out some creatures + Damnation.
Anyway, it's really up to each individual what he/she thinks is the best card to take out. At least for me who runs 4 Tendrils main. I can afford to take out 1 or 2 of them if I need to board in something more relevant.

Game 1 I drop turn 2 blossom turn three hammer and keep on swinging. He drops a couple birds, kills a couple tokens but overall dosent draw into whatever he needs.

I sided out two terror and a damnation for three deathmark
He mulligans to 5 goes turn one birds and i go turn 1 deathmark. He plays another birds turn two and i play a BB. Turn three he plays doran, my turn i play another deathmark on his doran and invert his birds and he scoops:D

On the play i get turn two BB. He plays his own BB on his turn two. Turn three i drop war hammer and start going to town. He plays a couple faeis but he cant handel the hammer, win.
Game 2
He gets the classic im a faerie deck on the play and counter everything you do and ruin your tempo so i lose.
Game 3
On the play i get turn two BB and turn three hammer again. I proceed to drop a demigod which gets countered. I drop a sewcond demigod and he counters it before its ability clears the stack, so his n00bness costed him the game bc demigod + hammer = game.

I play multipe dusk urchins in this game and draw like 7 cards. His persisting dudes are really annoying and kitchen finks gains him an annoying 8 life. But i had a lot more CA. I get a korlash + hammer online and he cant stop it.

I sided in 3 deathmarks for 3 nameless
He curves out perfectly and i see 0 damnations and BtQ and oversoul of dusk and wilt-leaf leige proceed to rape my face.
Game 3
I get BB and hammer tech online. He overextends in hopes to kill me but meets a damnation and scoops.

I was a little nervous going into this game bc i though this was a bad MU.
Game 1
He open on the play with shock. I open with a desert. He play keldon marauders. I played a swamp and pass turn. His turn he incinerates and swings with marauders which meets a nameles inversion which leaves me with 13 life. My turn i drop a BB and pass wondering if BB was going to be the end of me. His turn he play another marauder and a shock to my face. which takes me to 11. My turn i draw hammer:Dand play it,. however he still has a coule cards in hand which worries me. His turn he swings and i chump with BB token. my turn im down to 9. I euip hammer to my newly made token and pass turn. His turn marauders dirs and i go to 8. He drops a crusher and passes turn and which point i terror his crusher. My turn i go to 7 and get another token. I draw corrupt and am very happy, i swing with token which meets shock than follow up with a corrupt. which swings me up to 13 and my opponant was like wtf. I pass turn and he draw a land and plays it passing turn. My turn a get another corrupt! Which i play immediately dealing another 6 taking me up to 18. His next turn he draws another land a scoops. NICE

We were talking inebtween rounds an he asked if i had any torments for trade and i asked how many he needed. He said three which told me he must have only had one, which was good bc i have three dragons claws and 4 bottle gnomes in my sb.:D:D:D:D:D:D
so i sided out three BB and 4 urchins for the aforementioned cards.
Since he is on the play again he opens withh shock. My turn i lay a desert.
His turn he incinerates me. My turn i drop dragons claw. His turn he drops marauders and claw cancels out the damage. My turn i drop bottle gomes. His turn he swings with marauders and i block with gnomes and sac it to gain 3 putting me at a healthy 18. My turn i drop another dragons clawsand pass turn. He looks at the board for a moment and enter scoop phase. Game

Not a bad day overall i got 1st place and 8 packs as well as a sexy pendelhaven. MBC is just so good.

You have obviously never faced a revilark control deck packing avalanche riders, they can remove several lands per turn with Blink and have plenty of recursion.
Crucible might eventually win but they will kill you with 2/2s before you can recover that way. Viable against regular LD decks mabey as they generally have a little less recursion.
You're right, I haven't faced a Lark deck with such LD on the build when I've played MBC yet. So I wouldn't really know. My post was just theoretical against LDs. Sorry if I made the impression that I had experience on that particular game.
But if you are stuck on 3 mana and have Crucible in play and they keep avalanching your lands and attack. You can drop your own creatures like Urchins and even Bitterblossom to block their riders, while drawing more spells etc. However, the Crucible plan would have been better if we could drop 2 lands per turn.
What do we do to improve the fae matchup? Apologies in advance if this has been brought up before.
More mass removal from the SB? LD for their (somewhat fragile) manabase?

or perhaps Extirpate their riders or blink ?
I DO think that crucible is a viable counter to traditional LD decks though.
EDIT: Thoughtseize +extirpate +crucible would probably be what I would use against Lark LD.

Currently trying to discover the quickest way to get the opponent from 20 to 0.
