You really just need to embrace the rage. I keep a small colony of hamsters next to my computer and every time I lose a match to mana screw I throw one against the wall.
I would take the Angel. I think she's better than Tsunami, and you have enough white to where you're going to play UW anyway, even blue is your deeper color at the time.
Mental Misstep Hysteria sweeps the nation! Legacy format to never be the same! Wizards releases new card made of space-age polymers and Tang, infused with the DNA of Ramses II, Alexander the Great, and Joe Montana! Every Legacy deck to begin “4 Mental Misstep and 56 other, less exciting cards” forever more!
Me too... inferno trap, and marauder over sellsword unless of course I'm going allies.
I think trap is way better, way more splashable (due to power level... 2 drop is usually not a splash)... Even at 4 cc, full cost, 4 instant speed damage to creature is really good.
Not only that, but in UR, you can double your removal if you have the blue trapmaker's snare, which can table... It's awesome if you have the inferno trap, AND the whiplash trap in your deck, because you can situationally tutor for either.

Just to nitpick slightly, that doesn't increase the actual amount of removal you have, it just increases your chance of drawing it.
Of course you're correct. I was being figurative. It's just tutoring, and in this removal short format, the inferno, whiplash, Pitfall, arrow volley, (and even needlebite trap not removal, but you can tutor it up & play for 3 mana total when your opponent gains life. ) are worth tutoring for if they're worth putting in the deck. Best of you play two different traps in the deck.
I was getting good blue to start with. P1P1 was a burst lightning. That was my only red card pack one. I got a late halo hunter, and was thinking that I would go U/Br. Didn't get much good black for the rest of pack one, a murauder and maybe two other playables. P2P1 was a second burst lightning over a disfigure. P2P2 was the hideous end over inferno trap. I guess I wanted more out of my black that just a halo hunter and some random dudes. My logic was that hideous end kills something with 5+ toughness. Also, I was still thinking that red was going to be a minor splash, and figured keep it to two cards.
It all worked out, though red started flowing and I picked up a ton of black pack three. Ended up with a very solid R/B and won the draft.

So if you didn't see any red at all after pick 1, why not take the Disfigure P2P1?
How about
p1p1: Took Hideous End
p1p2: Choice between Aether Figment and Bladetusk Boar
I think more information is needed. Did you pass any good blue or red? Are those literally the only two playables in the pack?

Alrighty just on a draft simulator. P1P1, would you take a conquerers pledge, hidious end, burst lightning or vampire nighthawk?.. with no other notable picks in the pack
Nothing really good passed in the first pack. Only other card I remember in the pack was an Explorer's Scope... nothing else caught my eye.
I would take the Figment, but that's a color preference of mine that's developed due to blue seemingly always being wide open on MTGO drafts. I literally have picked Figments 13th before.

I'd say this one is between the Pledge and Lightning. If you take either black card, there's a good chance your neighbor will take the other one, and I'd rather let the other players fight over black in this case. My preference would be for the Pledge since it's a gamebreaker, but it does require a heavy white commitment, so taking the removal over it is perfectly justifiable.

Pledge or burst lightning... for the reasons bizkit stated. The black cards are heavier on commitment. Pledge is absolutely gamebreaking usually. But I love burst lightning too...
Removal or threat? if the removal in the pack can kill the threat, take the removal. So i'll take the inferno trap here as the only threat that doesn't die to inferno trap is the sky ruin drake, and that is not really impressive.
The "can this kill this" test is a pretty bad way to make a pick -- would you take Doom Blade over Baneslayer Angel? Although you're still right that Trap is the best pick.
P1P1:
Welkin Tern vs Umara Raptor vs Windrider Eel.
My order would be Raptor, Tern, Eel. I like grabbing allies early in case I can end with the nuts, and there's not much difference between 2 and 3 mana. Eel ends at the bottom because it sucks paying 4 and having to take 4+ damage because you can't effectively block. Amusingly, a month ago I would have done this in inverse order.
A month ago you would have been right... well, right about the eel at least, I think tern vs raptor is up to discussion. Eel is a bomb, the rest aren't. And note that it's always at least as good a blocker as the others.

kor sky fisher lets you abuse any etb effects.
Its nice as an early drop, but great as a late drop as well.
Yeah, I must have been confusing its effect with Kor Skyfisher. Whoops. Still probably the best pick though.
I had just picked my second burst lightning over a disfigure.(P2P1)
I already had a Halo hunter.
Kor Duelist
Gomazoa
Inferno Trap
Nimana Sell-Sword
Vines of Vastwood
Sky Ruin Drake
Pillarfield Ox
Surrakar Marauder
Nissa's Chosen
What does the rest of your pool look like?
Inferno Trap
Marauder
Sellsword
Removal is a premium in this format, so grab it while you can. PLus, Inferno Trap kills pretty much everything in the format.
^^Thanks dantcg!

Close call, take the pledge.
I figured that burst was a little better in that you have the option to kick it, or deal direct damage for the final push.
Hideous End vs. Journey to Nowhere
Burst Lightning vs. Shepard of the Lost
