When Rift Warden enters the battlefield, you may exile another target creature.
When Rift Warden leaves the battlefield, return the exiled card to the battlefield under it's owner's control, and exile Rift Warden with two time counters on it and it gains suspend.
2/4
Not sure if I have to split up the second ability into both the leave the battlefield effect and the suspend ability.
I think making one a dies trigger and the other a leaves the battlefield trigger smooths the card out a bit and helps clarify its functionality. Also, making the suspend effect a dies trigger keeps the card fair in my opinion. Not sure if you wanted fair though, so take it or leave it . . . up to you.

I wanted it to "not be fair".
It's a 4 mana 2/4 that basically functions as a non-stop Journey to Nowhere is what I wanted.
I once farted during the final match for prizes at an FNM. It was a tense moment, everything was quiet, control vs control, I was about to mana leak, thought about it.. and farted. Then mana leaked.

Yeah, I'd play this in a heartbeat. Good design too, I like Enlightened Tutor strapped to a Kor Sanctifiers.
Call of the Cemeterey 1B
Sorcery
Put a 2/2 black Zombie creature token onto the battlefield.
Flashback 2B
Would we play this card?
I wouldn't. 5 mana for two 2/2s is not really what I want to be doing. If you give them some relevant ability or make them 2/1s with a drawback for B, Flashback 1B I'd play it depending on drawback.
I'd play this, for example:
Cemetery Call B
Sorcery
Put a 2/1 black Zombie creature token onto the battlefield. It has "this creature cannot block."
Flashback 1B
Yeah, it's a strictly better Jungle Lion, but I think we can go there without too many problems.

Flash
When ~ enters the battlefield, if G was spent to cast it, target creature gets +2/+2 until end of turn.
When ~ enters the battlefield, if R was spent to cast it, target creature you control deals damage equal to it's power to another target creature.
Evoke (R/G)
there's a tiny bit of space in green for this. see bind (trickbind intentionally references it) and voidslime (the additional abilities imply that green has something to do with that effect). plus there's a couple of older green cards that counter activated abilities if the source is an artifact.
it's one of those things that might or might not be explored in green in the future.
When I see Healing Salve, I'm often like "Oh girl, I wish I could turn every card into this." Thanks they removed the gain life part, otherwise this would have been broken.

Evoke (R/G)
This is basically a Fire Imp on steroids, and Fire Imp is already a 360 staple.
The only way this thing is mediocre is if it gets cascaded off of Bloodbraid Elf.
I mean honestly the green option isn't even needed, it would be nuts without it. With the green option (and the ability to get both) it makes it way better than Bloodbraid Elf, and that's hard to do.
If it cost 4(R/G) it might even be too strong.
This is without even touching Evoke. Evoke just pushes this card into the stratosphere.

What about at 4(G/R)(G/R) and a 3/3?
Next card that just came to me:
Deciever's Matriarch4UU
Creature - Shapeshifter

~ enters the battlefield as a copy of any creature on the battlefield.
When ~ enters the battlefield, gain control of all creatures with the same name as it as long as it's on the battlefield.

Yeah, the R/G creature is much more fair at 6, or maybe 5.
I once farted during the final match for prizes at an FNM. It was a tense moment, everything was quiet, control vs control, I was about to mana leak, thought about it.. and farted. Then mana leaked.
3(R/G)(R/G) is a fine price for the super Fire Imp. Evoke cost should probably be like 3(R/G). As a 3/3 he might have to be six mana, but I think that's pushing it. He's good enough at 5 and probably isn't ridiculously broken.
I think the clone thief is actually overcosted.
2UUU or 3UU would be better. Clone doesn't see any play as is (although it might at 2U), and some of the time you'll want to clone your own guy, despite them having an awesome guy on board.
It's as susceptible to removal as the thing you're copying, so while you might get an awesome target (Simic Sky Swallower, Keiga, etc) it is only as good as what is already on board.
It does very, very little against aggro. I wouldn't play it at six mana, although I would at five.

persist
X/X
what do the X's need to be for this to be cubable?
Well Predatory Nightstalker is a 3/2, but seeing as that card was made a million years ago and never in an actual set, maybe a 4/3 would work?
EDH Decks:
- Reya Dawnbringer // - Mistform Ultimus // - Balthor the Defiled // - Urabrask the Hidden // - Mirri, Cat Warrior
Well, it also have persisted, which make it a ton stronger.
I'll try it at 3/3, and probably marked it as staple at 4/4.
