The first suggested version of that card is ridiculously unprintable. I'm trying to find a medium between missing the cut and being too good.
Greater Spawnmother 2.03GGG
Creature - Spider
Deathtouch, reach.
When ~ enters the battlefield, put three 1/2 green spider tokens with deathtouch and reach onto the battlefield.
3/6
..........
But what I've been asking for for a long time now is:
Hmm... this version of spawnmother seems really good. Like Hornet Queen for one less. The tokens aren't evasive, but they block just as well, and the main body is bigger.
That Gaea's Shield seems acceptably, but maybe on the weak side. I could see a 7/7 pretty easily.

7 power would be too good on a shroud/trample finisher for 6 mana.
I feel like 6 power just makes it an expensive Kodama of the North Tree. I know 5 is a lot more competitive than six, but still. Maybe if you slapped on another ability (Regenerate, Intimidate, Vigilance, Reach, Uncounterable).
What about this (back on token generation):
Menagerie 3GGG
Sorcery
Put a 1/1 green squirrel, a 2/2 green bear, a 3/3 green elephant, and a 4/4 green beast token onto the battlefield

I was going to say 10 power might be too much but Armada Wurm exists so I guess its fine. Make the bear a wolf for synergy and wizards likes them more for tokens. squirrel realistically would be printed as a saproling or snake too but I like squirrels more so meh.
on the token theme:
Wolf Run 1GG
sorcery R
put a 2/2 wolf token onto the battlefield then populate.
I feel in this block it's too good in draft to print this at anything les than rare sadly, outside of a beefy token block its fair at uncommon I think.

I want to say two 2/2's for 3 is probably fine, if maybe a little pushed. It's probably more possible as a common/uncommon if you make it just "Put two 2/2 wolf tokens onto the battlefield". Adding populate adds too much potential for it to be way better than just getting the two printed tokens. Hence why Eyes in the Skies is a mana more than Midnight Haunting.

I really want a white blink card slightly better than cloudshift. I am not sure which designs are printable...
Puff of Smoke W

Exile target creature you control, then return that creature to the battlefield.

Puff of Smoke 1W

Puff of Smoke W
Instant
Exile target creature you control, then return that creature to the battlefield.
Draw a card.
The first is too much strictly-better than Momentary Blink. 1 mana cheaper, 1 mana cheaper flashback, and the flashback doesn't require a second color. Is it too good? Perhaps not, but it does obsolete the current best there is.
The second one is to me the most exciting. It's also very good, but at two mana it might just be balanced.
The third is again probably too good. It's Cloudshift, but instead of permanently stealing any creature you happened to control, it draws a card. Maybe at 1W.
I'd still really like to see this:
Paradigm Shift 1UUW
Instant
Exile target creature, then return it to the battlefield under your control Sometimes all it takes is a new point of view

Ya maybe. I'd drop the toughness and make a 6 power version of Thrun.
I dont like Izzet right now so I'm thinking Ral Zarek is gonna make it in the cube if he costs 4.

ALSO i will put any hybrid walker in my cube regardless of how crappy it is.
Whatever form it takes, we are missing the (dare I say painfully obviously nonexistent) 6-mana 6-power green creature with Trample and Shroud/Hexproof.
Whatever it turns out to be, you can be sure that we're all going to be including it.

The first one, in addition to being able to pretty safely cost 1R, should also probably use multikicker.
Volcanic Spew --- 1R
Instant
Mulitkicker - Exile a red card from your graveyard.
Volcanic Spew deals 2 damage to target creature or player, plus an additional 1 damage to that creature or player for each time it was kicked.
The second seems pretty crazy good. It's Shadowmage Infiltrator, but instead of drawing a card, you get a free Snapcaster Mage trigger? I'm not sure it's too good to print, but it's sure exciting.

Maybe he and all other creatures you control enter the battlefield tapped? They get there early but unprepared/exhausted. It would still be too good, but it would be a fitting and flavorful drawback.

With Armada Wurm and Grave Titan, 10 power for 6 mana is by no means over the curve - this is probably even under the curve, as it has no powers and can't be flickered. As for the token typings, I went with the Odyssey Standards (Acorn Harvest, Grizzly Fate, Beast Attack, Call of the Herd).

1/1 blue merfolk (benthicore)
2/2 white cat (Ajani, caller of the pride)
3/3 red ogre (Kazuul, tyrant of the cliffs)
4/4 red Giant (Pact of the Titan)
Edit: I can't find a configuration that ends up with each of the 4 tokens being a nongreen color, and that would be so cool. Nothing makes 3/3's
Been out of it for a while, what is populate?
Use 4/4 Angels and 2/2 Zombies.
