With all of these new cards with counters and the return of cumulative upkeep it's a shame that chisea heart of oceans won't be legal in standard any more.

"Schindler and I are like peas in a pod. We both own factories and we both made weapons for the Nazis, except mine worked damn it." -Mr. Burns-
Haven't read the previous posts, but Lotus = 2? Wtf, we get another Lotus? :b
Legendary = 20.
I KNOW! WOOO!!!! LEGENDARY CREATURES!!
........
Yeah...anyways...
The Lotus refrences itself twice. The name, and the "sacrifice ~" part.
That's weird though...if Radha doesn't appear in the Orb...then what art is that? Perhaps an instant or sorcery...like, Teferi's Premonition?
Stop posting results that can be found in the first post! GAH, after my last post, there were 14 more doing exactly what we had asked not to be done.

Rumor season is madness enough without having to delete 2 of every five posts here. Yes, you are that bad ATM.
Warnings will ensue from now on, R_E told you, Sed's told you, and I've Told you.
I believe what the mods are saying and what people are missing is don't post the results already posted in the first post. IE dont post WORD = X.
Anyone who reads the first page already knows what thresults are. I myself am kinda guilty with my Lemure post, so I apologize. Lemures rock though.
Though I do not think posting a result with speculation tied to it is that bad. The problem is speculation is for the "Speculation" forum. Perhaps we need a thread in there for "Speculation on Orb results"
Legendary Land:symtap:: Add to your mana pool.
:1mana::symr:,:symtap:: Put a 0/1 red Kobold creature token named Kobolds of Kher Keep into play
Oooooh... Common...
When I saw Kher Keep, I thought they where going to reedit the mighty Rohgahh of Kher Keep... Maybe on Planar Chaos
hes going to be reprinted as a bonus cards. those dont show in the orb. remember the reserved list states that they wont actually reprint any of those cards in a legal format? they found a loophole, and are exploiting it by reprinteing cards from the reserved list with a purple rarity symbol and declaring them illegal. elegant, as one would say.
I entered "Kamahlite" and it showed up as 0, when I know there "kamahlite" on a card.
Does the Orb not read Flavor text?
PS: this is my first post. be gentle.
I'm sorry but: Infraction given for not reading the thread before posting. i.e: Spam. If you had of read the thread, you would have had your answer already.

?
So many assumptions... head... spinning.
Is it reasonable too assume that every instance of :/; is going to have a corresponding mana cost? If so, we can probably bring that count down some more.
Edit: As far as Rhada not showing up... it could be possible they didn't have room for her in the set and are printing her in Planar Chaos or Future Sight. They didn't print Slobad until Darksteel, although I didn't read the Mirrodin novels so I dont know if he hadn't shown up until then....
Yah, its not a very good explanation buts its the only reasonable one I could think of.

That makes sense and it's what I thought they'd do. I thought of Rohgadh (or however it's spelled) when I saw Kher Keep. This would also confirm Akroma and Nicol which is what everyone wants. The only puzzling thing is Radha, which is odd if she is a main character.
As for the "Leng", if the reprint rule is true, then it has to be a new card. Possibly the same thing with Suspend or such.
This set is gonna rock. Can't wait for previews.
well, of course im only assuming, since i dont have any special powers or anything lol. but read this please :
Special-Purpose Reprints
All policies described in this document apply only to non-premium, tournament-legal Magic cards. Wizards of the Coast has and may continue to print special versions of cards not meant for regular game play, such as oversized cards.
See? They promised they would never reprint those cards in NON-PREMIUM, TOURNAMENT-LEGAL Magic format. So what CAN they do? Reprint the exact same god damned cards in a PREMIUM , NON-TOURNAMENT-LEGAL format. There's your 121 extra cards.
If I'm right, it means 2 things :
1-WOTC is really full of ****.
2-WOTC is actually giving us what we want, so its okay
PS : Additionally, i remember reading one of Rosewater's articles where he openly admitted that the reserve list was a mistake, and that he was looking for clever ways to work around it.

Actually, a case could be made that doing things this way is supporting the health of M:tg.
Type I and Type II have a large barrier to entry, many of the staples have been OOP for a long time. In reprinting even a portion in this manner, they'll actually be supporting those formats and increasing participation, by increasing the supply of staple cards.
Of course, depending on what they might reprint, it could tick alot of people off.

They can reprint any card that they want as a PROMO version of a card, that is not tied to any set. The Reprint policy prevents the reprinting of those cards *IN A RELEASE SET*. But if they want too, the could make all the promos in the world of those same cards, and release them as something other than part of a set.
The only puzzling thing is Radha, which is odd if she is a main character.
Yeah, it's been mentioned before, but I agree she's definetly the character on the cover of the Rime Spiral novel, no doubt. She will be Nakazawa's preview card on the 4th of september too (following his trend of perviewing the 'novel' character card first), so goodness knows why she isn't coming up in the orb at all.
One of the brothers suggested discrepencies with her name like Lyzolda/Izolda and Hesperia/Isperia in the dissension novels. Seems reasonable, and likley too.

Yeah, but:
* The only reason to reprint old, reserved list cards is to increase sales (since it otherwise mostly pisses people off)
* Tournament-illegal cards don't sell because most players either sometimes play in tournaments (even if they're just FNMs) or follow tournament-legality rules in their casual games
* This promotion wouldn't actually sell more packs of TS to people and therefore isn't worth doing
Whereas reprinting cards that are tournament-legal and which would fit well into Standard makes many people happy and is likely to massively improve sales on the set, so if there are reprints that is absolutely how they are being handled.
Please keep this thread on topic, this isn't the place for set size discussion, or promo cards, or the 'possible' 121 'extras'. We have plenty of threads for these already.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm going to take Radha and start throwing letters in until I find a similar match. What that means is that I'm going to try once and if it comes up 0 I'll give up because I'm lazy.
For my fellow Quinton Hoover fans, and those of you that noticed Hoover got 4 hits, Quinton does as well. Looks like he's either back, or his art is being re-used. Let's hope for the former, I miss seeing his gorgeous line-art grace our cards..
I'm pretty pumped. Four of my favorite classic Magic illustrators who have been long gone (Anson Maddocks, Quinton Hoover, Drew Tucker, and Richard Kane-Ferguson) are all back and doing 2-4 cards for this set!
I'm sad, though, that a few of the other classy artists whose old-school talents would've done well for this set won't be gracing us with their presence: no Harold McNeill, no Melissa Benson, no Margaret Organ-Kean, no Amy Weber, and no Foglios. :-(

...Heh...I did not know that Heidar's cult was involved in some sort of spinning apparatus. Nice Hydro, nice.
heheheh! Me too bro, glad you caught that Heidar slip too, that guy is a house in CS limited!
I've tried Radha, Rahda Raadha Aradha raahda, araahda and about a hundred others, and nothing. Hopefully we'll get something soon... either that or it's just plain been left out of the Orb altogether?
Ith, Endrek Sahr, Norin the Wary, Dralnu, Ib halfheart and Tividar Thorn all are in though, just incase y'all missed them!
I think the answer is "yes", but I just want to make sure:
Are the basic lands counted as 20 seperate cards in the orb, yielding 8 instances of each basic land type word?
Since it shows up twice per creature with the ability [ability + rules text], that means the likelyhood of 10 critters with flanking appearing twice, which leaves a lone instance. Most likely an aura, or perhaps an enchantment that grants flanking to all your critters!
Wow.
After seeing what mechanics are being brought back it's hard to NOT be ridiculously PSYCHED for TIME SPIRAL!!!!

actually a creature gives all creatures wtih flanking flanking again is the missing one. Thus the playtest cards seem to have come through fairly well.

Didn't that creature have flanking itself though? That would mean there's at most 9 flankers, barring some missing reminder text or something.
Also something I notice that I don't believe has mentioned is the fact that there are no hybrid mana symbols.
