I believe this list is 100% real. 145 legitimate-sounding names? Most people can't even make up one.
This is the first time we've ever had this much information this soon. Shards isn't even out yet. And although I'd ordinarily think this was an authorized leak to drum up excitement, the fact that Nicol Bolas is spoiled makes me think otherwise. If planeswalkers are WOTC's ace in the hole, then their hand just got tipped.

THE PLOT THICKENS.
Bu Bu BUUUUMMMMMMM (cue dramatic music) LOL
but anyways, this is so many levels of awesome. I was wondering what happen to out old boy Nicol after his fight with Leshrac, and with how sever his injuries were it makes perfect since to make him a neo-walker.
REALLY hope Thornling will be a Morphling variant, maybe they make one for each color over the coming years so there will be a super cycle (here's to hoping )
Alara - at the distributers.
Conflux - Printing
Scissors - Final editing process
next block - testing
The FFL is always a full Standard ahead, to the best of my recollection from MaRo's (and others') articles. So, I think they're currently testing the next two blocks together, and thinking about 11th Edition. Scissors is probably 1-2 steps before final editing, but I am unsure of what that would be.
Hmmm, Nichol Bolas, one of the few Planeswalkers that lived, and was still amazingly powerful.
Anyway, getting this kind of info this early is amazing.

If I hear someone mention 'super cycle' one more time, I'll gag.
The only true, admitted super cycle was that of Keldon Necropolis, Kor Haven and its legendary buddies...and as far as that goes, wasn't a tight cycle at all.
At any rate, speculation about card texts of the names on the list doesn't belong on this thread.
Speculation about the list itself, and the reprints on it, is fine.
This is...a crazy find to say the least.

Bolas has to have been weakened some how for him to be a Planeswalker card. He was basically invincible before, so something based around Time Spiral must have knocked him down a few pegs.

*ahem*
Test of Endurance, Battle of Wits, Mortal Combat, Chance Encounter, Epic Struggle scattered in Odyssey block beg to differ.
I agree with you that these two are probably the only two, though.
Edit - That, and the Atogs. It amuses me (not) how we can't say anything about Magic without something from the past biting us where ir hurts. Awesome :/
There's been a lot of people just whining in general about lack of information, drafts, poor prize pool, getting turned away, or the general fact it's different.
As for this list... interesting that there seems to be little indication as far as new names that we'll see "new" shards or anything that may indicate enemy colors. Not that names mean 100% anything really, but I think you guys know what I'm getting at.

Cycles within a block aren't mega-cycles. That's just dividing the cycle up across the block. Lor-Mor did that with the rare changelings for example. Mega-cycles have to appear across multiple blocks.
These 5 make me think they will be "enemy tripplelands". My guesses:
Ancient Ziggurat [CON] GWB Corrupted Roots [CON] BGU Exotic Orchard [CON] GUR Reliquary Tower [CON] RWB Unstable Frontier [CON] URW
hmmmm, so would you be able to have nicol bolas and its planeswalker version in play together?
Can you have both Ertais in play together?
Can you have all three Crovaxs in play together?
Having a legend and a different planeswalker card is...the same concept.
EXCEPT IT HAS EVASION AND COUNTS YOUR OPPONENTS CREATURES AS WELL AS YOUR OWN AND CREATURE TOKENS WTF DEAR GOD! DO YOU NOT SEEEEEE THE SHENANIGANS THIS GUY IS ABOUT TO UNLOAD ON YOUR FACE? NANTUKO HUSK IS ALL LIKE "LOL MEET MY BFF JILL!" ALL THE DEVOUR CREATURES ARE LIKE "LOLOLOLOLOL"
If I hear someone mention 'super cycle' one more time, I'll gag.
BEST. Line. EVER. Quoted just for you
As for the names, we certainly do have some interesting card names. Absorb Vis just screams Drain Life, Scarland Thrinax may be lil' Thrinax's bigger bro and did anyone else notice the three Scepters?
i think this card is Freakin' awesome just imagine zoo with this even on the draw u flex "Nutz" any mana drawing the extra card u can pitch and turning up the gas on tempo and it still taps for mana easily a 3 of most likely a 4 of
Is it just me or do these cards sound a lot like a bunch of random cardnames mashed together? This spoiler could be real, but i am quite doubtful about it. I mean honestly, here are a few examples that really stick out:
1. Esperzoa (Esper+Chronozoa=Esperzoa) Why would a land of artifice have anything to do with cellular reproduction?
--------
Then they are also including the whole "I am going to put a play on words into Magic." (See Blightning)
2. Kaleidostone?? (Ok so it is a stone that gets every colored mana like birds- slightly believable)
3. Countersquall (ok... I guess maybe a spell that counters something and deals damage equal to it's CMC to each creature with flying and each player. I guess, but why couldn't whoever designed this card have come up with a better name?)
-------
Just overall wierd stuff:
Conflux (Why name a card in the set after the set's name? I guess WotC has done wierder things like reprinting Oblivion Ring in a subsequent block)
Child/obelisk of Alara (This just seems wierd, because Alara itself has not been together in ages, meaning that no being could have survived that long and because the Obelisk of Alara was shattered to make the five in Shards of Alara.
Nicol Bolas (I would understand if maybe he was the force that tore Alara apart- because Sarkhan Vol was looking for the "ultimate dragon" maybe that is a sign that the people on Jund worship Bolas. Otherwise I would see no way for him to fit in the storyline)
Seriously though, if this is real, I am very glad that it came so early and I hope that many of these names that sound good have subsequently good cards.
That seems highly unlikely, its too complicated even with Hybrid knowledge. Now maybe a card with one primary color that could be paid by its allies colors would work,( Something like :symwg::symwu:, so you could play it for WW, GW, WU or GU), but that seems VERY unlikely.
As for the _____-cyles(for we don't need UrSeds choking on us ;)), there were 5, here's the reference for it. They were the Legend lands, the 'Togs, the Voices, the alternate win condition enchantments (battle of wits and the like) and "tap an untapped" creature lords.

Anyway, actual speculation...:
Unstable Frontier, Reliquary Tower, Font of Mythos, Ancient Ziggurat, and Exotic Orchard= Enemy based tri-lands...?

@Horeshoe Hermit:
While it is odd to have a card in a set with the set's name, it is not wierd to have sets and cards share names:
Visions
Torment
Onslaught
Time Spiral
Planar Chaos
Future Sight
Morningtide
there may be more that I have overlooked...

Come December when we complete the Conflux list we'll be hungry for Scissors rumors
Yes, but none of those were actually from the set they share their name with.

Also, the card named conflux is rather odd, but it likely depicts whatever event is causing the merging to happen and will be mythic.
