Master I think you miss the point. It's enemy SHARDS not enemy pairs. Like the enemy shard of Black, Green, White. Not the enemy pair of Black/Green. Anyways, I don't think enemy shards will happen until "Scissors" when alara reshatters into new shards. (My theory)
Conflux is more of a mingling of all the shards than anything.
You know, knowing all the names from Conflux makes it so much easier figuring out which art goes where when we have occasions like this where art sans name pops up. I think hte list, as it stands now, is pretty acurate, but hey you never know with wizards...
I somehow like the owl-aven. But then again, I like owls
Another thing i'd like to point out is that there are already enemy color pairs in Shards. Jhessian Infiltrator for example. I don't see much point in making the big theme of their second set somthing they already did in the first set.
I tend to agree. Ever since the theme of Alara and name of Conflux was made public I have thought that the set would cycle from 3 to 4 to 5 colors. In Conflux each shard would gain access to a fourth color of mana (which still makes them 5 unique shards but with more overlap, fitting the name especially well) and then in the final set the shards would essentially "collide" and have access to all five colors of mana with the distinction coming in flavor and mechanics instead of colored mana.
Anyone else think that is a viable path for the block?
I like the gargoyle guy out of all of them. Then again, esper is my favorite shard :P.
The ooze looks like an ooze. Nothing exciting there.
the owl guys are cool. But they arent realy too exciting IMO
Hey, good news, I think I found more new images, this time on th "Five Colors of Mana" menu, I'm not quite sure about some, but this one is definitely a new Esper image because of the filigree, maybe someone can help to see al the images throughout the five colors, cause i'm not sure about some arts being old, and I can't upload them cause they're too big...

Since I didn't read the conflux spoiler, I was convinced the ooze was a Dark Heart of the Wood reprint. I'm glad it's not so. Maybe I'm the only one, but one of my favorite creature types are oozes, simply because they're so friggin weird.
The artist could have put a little more detail on the jello. The background is beautiful, but the way he/she colored it, the ooze doesn't look like it oozes at all. It looks like a cocoon, to be honest. Maybe their some kind of cocoon/evolution mechanic? *hopeful* Though, that would be more of a Naya thing, wouldn't it?
Here's one of the new images I found on the Five Colors of Mana flash part, i had to crop it so sry, but you can go check the website, and look that amazing art in full size, it's in the blue side.

That is actually the art for Windreaver, not a Conflux card.

a small sentence for you to read while you ignore my post.
Well the Ooze (possibly Bloodhall Ooze) would have to be from Jund seeing as Jund is the only plane with oozes. But wait! Is that sunlight coming in from the opening of the cave? Jund has no bright sunlight, its skies are always red and cloudy! For some reason this screasmWBRto me, or maybe my love for those colors is making me think to far ahead... but I hope it's enemy tricolors...
All 3 arts are amazing, @ incinerate i think you could have called them spot on.
Even though the ooze is quite a basic picture with not much going on i think it's the best piece out of the 3 for some reason.
If these are from conflux then it has already got two big thumbs up from me on art alone. Let's just hope they are used on cards and not just art that will never see card form.
The Ooze picture seems quite basic, but getting the light sources to create a proper sheen for the Ooze, and the light reflecting onto the Ooze from the water, must have been very difficult. Of course, I'm not trying to demean the other two, but yeah, the Ooze one is my favorite too.
Guys, don't look for enemey color pairings from the color schemes on the art. Look at Wanderbrine Rootcutters, for instance.

What would you attempt... if you knew you could not fail?

The first one has Kev Walker's signature and is in the green section of the website. I'm pretty sure I've seen it before elsewhere, but I used MagicCards.info to look for all of Kev Walker's green cards, and it's not any of them.
The second one, also in the green section of the website, has Christopher Moeller's signature. I used MagicCards.info to look for all of Christopher Moeller's green cards, and it's not any of them.
- Jon Finkel Facts: (follow the link at left to see more Facts, or add more Facts!)
- Chuck Norris counted to infinity twice—because he was trying to count how much damage Jon Finkel deals in an average game.
- Jon Finkel believes in maintaining a healthy, balanced diet. He gets all his fiber from eating Magic cards for breakfast, and all his protein from eating Magic players for lunch.
The other piece is part of the odsessy cycle of white enchantments that prevent 2 damage from a color.
Oh, I see, the second is Sphere of Duty. That's why I couldn't find it: it's a white card, not a green card. Wizards of the Coast kind of messed up then; they put it in the green section of the website (I mean, it's an anti-green card, not a green card like the other eleven images in that section are).

The first thing I thought of when I saw the ooze was Mannichi, the Fevered Dream.
I'm really interested in the Gargoyle. I hope it's more than just a vanilla flyer like Tower Gargoyle was.

Thank you, sawbladex! I'm amazed that you knew this one. Yes, you're right; once you told me that, I Googled and found http://www.magiclibrarities.net/rarities-sega-images.html, which includes the attached image.
