The aeon thing sucks but is awesome at the same time. Absolute power house, but extremely difficult to get into play. Like some other posters have said, the reshuffle thing isn't for mill but it is to stop reanimate. It makes these cards worse. A lot worse. When I first saw these big titans I was pretty excited until I saw that clause.
Are there any good ways to cheat in creatures like this in T2 besides polymorph?
Summoning trap. IDK why everyone is so bumbed that if you sneak the titans into play you don't get the bonus. Who cares you have a 15/15 with pro colors. Unless they counter or cast DoJ its good game.
Well, Mill is done. Stick a fork in it. Haven't been over most of the thread but that Gaea's Blessing like activation spells curtains for most every mill strategy out there.
Not saying this guy is playable outright (at 15 mana I doubt it) but the anti mill clause will kick him into sideboards easily.

The problem is that this guy only has protection from "spells', he doesen't have protection from colored permanents and yes it does make a difference since (As probably explained somewhere in the length of this thread) when a spell on the stack becomes a permanent it no longer counts as a spell. So it really only has pro instants/sorceries for the most part, abilities still hit it. However I do agree taht the format has a distinct lack of royal assassin/Seal of doom so it will probably win you the game.
I just want this guy to have a way around mill strategies, and to have something epic to ramp into assuming I have Mirari's Wake out.
I wonder though, if you get milled 608 cards, do you need to actually count 608 cards even though your graveyard keeps on getting shuffled?
Nope, with infinite/recurring activations in a single turn, they made so that you can simply declare an "X". For instance if I have an Orochi Leafcaller, Sachi, and Freed from the Real (a cycle that generates unlimited mana) I could say that I activate these abilities in this order "X" times, without having to do all the tapping/untapping "X" times. Same things with getting milled for infinite or near infinite cards. You don't need to count them all if you already know "X" or the end result. Hope that made sense.
Also, its a pain when people whine about cards like this and say they'll "quit". Why would you quit when they print a gigantic creature which you will probably never face in a game and could easily respond to if you saw it coming, and not when somebody dropped a a black lotus, lightning bolt, channel, and fireball on turn 1 against you. On that note, it would be absolutely hilarious to channel this guy out, get an extra turn, berserk, and swing.
Quick rules question pertaining to the anti-mill effect on Emrakul ...
Let's say you have infinite mana through some combo (Basalt Monolith + Rings of Brighthearth, for example), and you have Ambassador Laquatus in play. Your opponent has, say, a number of cards in their deck and graveyard combined that is a multiple of 3, plus 1 (like 82, or 46). Your opponent has ONE copy of Emrakul in their deck. Is it reasonable to say that you can mill them an "infinite" number of times, causing them to shuffle their deck an "infinite" number of times, until shuffling their deck finally makes Emrakul the bottom card (which you would deduce simply by watching their graveyard carefully as this process repeats again and again), and then you pass the turn and the opponent has 1 turn to live unless they can discard the Emrakul, which will just start the process over again? Similarly, if your opponent has a multiple of 3 plus 2 or 3, can't you just mill them until Emrakul is one of the last 2 or 3 cards left, drastically shortening their life span? And if your opponent has multiple copies of the Eldrazi titans (or Gaea's Blessing), can't you just do the same thing until they're stacked as the last 3 or 4 cards in the deck? It's incredibly improbable and would take an inordinately long time if you actually played it out, but I think this is reasonable if we're talking about an infinite combo.
I know that most mill-based strategies are not based on Ambassador Laquatus + infinite mana (or some other "infinite mill" strategy), but this seems like a question that might pop up pretty often during EDH play. If the mill player is clever, and they have infinite milling capacity, can't they just circumvent the anti-mill nature of Emrakul (or the other Eldrazi titans) in this way?

On an unrelated note, I had a very detailed dream with Emrakul in it last night. NERDY I know, but it was strange. I was driving over a sort of wasteland near a beach, everything was sort of desolate and it had a very armageddon/apocalypse feel too it. We were trying to escape to the beach in our car (I think it was a jeep) when, BOOM, Emrakul hovers over a mountain and catches right up to us. But it didn't kill us or anything, it was trying to use us for some purpose, it could also take the form of a human. Do you guys ever have embarassing MtG inspired dreams like this?
On topic, I'm beginning to wonder if ROE will have some sort of colorless removal spell for this beast. It would HAVE to have a high cost, wouldn't it? Like in the 7+ range ala All is Dust.

Beauty of mine, sit before me. Let me peruse you and remember you... always like this.
If this forum had Greasers, Phoenix, Commons and Semantics would be the leaders of the gang and every time they commented on something they would do a synchronized finger snap then smoke a cigarette.
So here's a question. If we have both card arts for the actual Emrakul, then what pray-tell does this beastly art do? I was so hoping this would be the normal card art as it really shows off how much of a powerhouse he is...

Not so good. 15 mana is not realistic, except w/ infinate mana loops, at which point there a lots of options to end the game, many of which can actually do something before the infinate mana (ie: banefire, which can still go at creatures before although not as a very efficient burnspell). Progentitus is green, so it can be natural ordered out. It is not an artifact for T1 tinkers, and it shuffles in so the legacy reanimator spells don't get it. Hypergensis will like the card, and eureka can play it, but at that point those decks have plenty of options already, so adding another fatty won't do much since the ablity is only when casted.
not to mention blightning is running wild in standard.

I'm always looking for foil Madcap Skills and Ghitu Fire-Eater, [trade thread link forthcoming]
So if that's the prerelease art... then this must be the normal art...
Arg, I'm glad I'm going to the PR, as I hate the normal art compared to all the other images we have of him...
The only shame is that you can't Berserk him.
P.S. I really don't like the pre-re art, I like the normal art a LOT more.
Really, because I HATE that pre-release art...you'd think WotC never heard of the "rule-of-thirds" in photography.

Uh... Journey to Nowhere? Not only does it not suck, unlike capsule, it's a mana cheaper.
Executioner's Capsule can destroy him before he gets a chance to swing in and wreck you board, even if they hardcast him and get to Time Walk.

You could theoretically redirect the path with swerve or misdirection afterwards.
Also, if the protection ability isn't active whilst Emrakul is on the stack, mindbreak trap seems good.
