Good lord, this thing is crazy powerful. Especially if O. Ring/PtE or something similar doesn't return. This blows the fake version out of the water (But really that wouldn't take much). Another powerhouse mythic that's only mythic because it's way above the curve. Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh.
wow. I saw this card and got really excited for the pre-release. then someone mentioned tokens, and thats all I'm excited about now. I'm really looking forward to seeing the tokens this guy can make.
Oh snap.....I'm so glad I started collecting artifacts, lol. This thing is ridiculous. Resistance to removal? Check. Big and powerful? Check. Undercosted? Check.
I'm happy to see Wotc is killing the whole "only smaller creatures are worth playing" attitude that dominates standard. There's no reason higher costed creatures shouldn't be efficient, they should in fact be very efficient to justify their cost. All the stats and abilities in the world are irrelevant when the thing gets killed by a dime a dozen removal spell, and it just turns them into wasted plays, and that's just lame. You always need removal for balance, but you also need to find a way to keep removal from being too dominant. This seems to be a way, and I hope the trend continues. Sure, there are still things that can stop it (as there should be) but at least you get compensated if it's taken out by the most common removal strategies.
It's always time to update the cube. I'm not sure this deserves fit. Although I may heavily expand my artifact creature support with this block. Hard to say :|
I like this guy. I think OR makes it a better card. Since the wurm isn't splitting into two, you just only killed one half.
this is a strong creature for sure. the power level for 6 mana creatures has really found a nice home. this is definitely the new normal for creatures, which makes sense to me since the power level of spells you get in this mana range is practically "win the game right friggin now", so for a creature to compete with that they have to basically say "win the game unless opponent can remove this right friggin now".
i think this will be played in Standard. i like that.
its got good flavor as well. in captures the idea of this being a composite creature that is composed of a "life wurm" and a "death wurm" and it splits into its components upon destruction.
Haha! I love that you were attentive enough to catch Glimmervoid, but not to catch that the subject of the photo is totally not a dude.

This is a card GR Titan Ramp can use once SGC rotates, it costs one more but it will gain you life and thus help deal with faster decks like RDW and boros.
Wow, an above the curve, expensive, Mythic creature. What will WotC think of next?
Seriously though, it's a good creature that will see play. However, last go around on Mirrodin, the format was dominated by mostlycommonsanduncommonswithfewrares? Overpowered indeed, but you must admit, you were only a little pack cracking away from a tournament caliber deck.
Not yet, but Pacifism and Narcolepsy are good "removal" when the good removal disappears.
Agreed, but in my opinion Journey to Nowhere is far superior.
As for the card, it kind of wouldn't make sense if only one half lived on, so I'm guessing it'll be and. It is very powerful, but in standard not really much more than Grave Titan. It creates more powerful tokens and if it dies, but Grave Titan creates more. What really might be a bit over the top is the fact that it's entirely colorless, but all the artifact removal compensates nicely for that. I kind of prefer mythic rares like this over crap ones. Yes they're twice as hard to get as usual cards, but at least you get something and not a worthless Lorthos. Also very glad it's the promo, because it's actually useful for me, just like Sun Titan was.
Check original post. Says it could be "and" or "or."
This card is crazy if you get both. Could be good in Destructive Force.dec, especially if we get a few good mana-producing artifacts (like a good Mox or something). At least it doesn't fly! lol
I think they'd pretty much have to . . . I mean its half the wurm.

Not a bad thing, Phyrexia likes to get rid of useless stuff anyway.

Also, if you didn't notice, it's another card that's really good with Sneak Attack effects.
And this is going straight into my Mayael EDH deck.

Card has me impressed. As people have been saying, EDH just made a new friend.

It would be kind of "meh" if it's or. A 6/6 of the most vulnerable card type in the game. Slap a Pacifism on it and move on.
And... no decks actually have pacifism in... No point here

WUBRGPauper Battle BoxWUBRG ... and why I am not a fan of Wayne Reynolds' Illustrations.

I doubt it, but we'll see
I'm quite sure that it gives only one

Yes, but a a few posts ago I discussed with a guy who pointed out that probably it's an or...
I'm not sure, anyway... Imho it's 70% "or"
