Temporal Mastery does just what Time Walk was supposed to do, before blue went haywire. You draw it, play it, and that is it. And that is putting you one round ahead, that is it, end of discussion. Even if you drew it firs round, you still have an opportunity in Legacy to get it back on top to draw it the next round. Not only it it extremely good alone or as a splash color, but with the cantrip effects it is extremely good and versatile in todays Legacy environment. And one thing I have not seen mentioned is that it is immune to Spell Snare.

Urza thought it a crusade. Xantcha knew it was a robbery...
I'm calling it now: They ban Brainstorm and then print a new instant cantrip in the planechase decks that (kind of) replaces brainstorm, but doesn't break Miracles.

I really hope that Soulbond gives just about everything you can think of, cause having a bunch of paired sets of beaters would be neat. Haste for sure, we've already seen flying and double strike, so hopefully vigilance, lifelink, +x/+x, deathtouch and more are given out.

Delver tempo is going to be ridiculous. Goodbye standard! That cloud card is amazing. W protect creature from everything and so much more is amazing IMO. Also the white miracle is amazing in EDH against generals.

turn one play forest and Bop
turn two time walk and play island
extra turn play a land and search for another land
turn three any titan
it makes one more way to play a turn three titan
Gris is disappointing. Withengar is a much more impressive threat.
Of course, this is from a purely aesthetic point of view. Gris certainly has playability, but I was expecting something more of the kind of stompy demon that would give Avacyn trouble.
Ah, yes, I completely forgot about him/her (is Gabriel Angelfire male or female?), as he/she is an obscure character from an older block that was released many years ago. Thank you for reminding me.
Also, is anyone else here of the opinion that Griselbrand's ability is as close as WotC shall ever come to reprinting Yawgmoth's Bargain? That certainly seems to be the case, to me.

Griselbrand is the best demon ever, if he survives enough to block or hit, his ability reads 0: Draw 7 cards. No ammount of stompy can beat such card advantage.

you just have to survive long enough to cast him...
or cheat him into play.
Theres nothing about the Miracle mechanic in its rules or reminder text that would stop them from having creatures, artifacts or whatever else with miracle, but unfortunately their article states its Instants and Sorceries.
They should have printed a Legendary Angel with Miracle, not for EDH (though that would have been a bonus), but just for flavor reasons.
40 dollars already? Jeez, the card may be good but has anyone mentioned how god-awful miracles are with card draw? Something every blue deck is gonna want to do?
Yah, I said a few pages back that the card was nuts with jace and brainstorm in particular, which is awesome but still...I think people are going a little too far with this thing. If you have these in your deck, you will NEVER want to draw more than one card, unless you can put them back.
This card seems so good with already insane cards, Jace, brainstorm, top, that it's gonna get banned in legacy than drop to like, 10 bucks. Why pay 40?
I personally would start investing in Soothsaying now. A cheap library rearranger for that allows for continuous activations is probably a good thing. Sensei's Divining Top just fell and broke on the floor.
Griselbrand is awesome. Soulbond is to Banding what Vanishing is to Fading. Just an update without reprinting the original mechanic. Interesting take.

This is no Time Reversal- this is going to remain valuable unless it sees a lot of bans.
It could wind up the 2nd most valuable Mythic after Jace,
depending on legality.
I suspect that as long as it remains Standard-legal, it will be at least as valuable as Geist of Saint Traft,
as TM will be desired in every deck running Geist and then some.
No (Standard) deck will want 4 barring unforeseen card reveals,
but *several* decks will want 1-3, across all Formats.
TM will also be opened far fewer times in Drafts, lowering the supply below Geist's.

It's good, but the danger is it's so good, with already insane cards, that I see either it, or cards that enable it easily getting banned.
If you get a jace to stick on the board, or have a single brainstorm along with this in hand (god forbid two), it's like....game over. As if planting the jace wasn't strong enough by itself, or the brainstorm being strong by itself, this just... synergizes SO WELL for such a cheap cost, with two of the best true blues the "modern" game has ever seen.
For two blue and a colorless you can cast jace turn three. With this in hand with a single brainstorm Jace can come down turn three, (your fourth their third).
Not only that, but even if you don't have a jace, or anything impressive for the extra turn it's still so crazy it's ban-worthy. Hence why the 30-40 bucks is not worth it. I really think this is gonna get banned.
Pay three, draw three, put two back in any order, untap all your lands, draw a card, play a land, go. WTF? It's not worth the money because it's so good it's gonna get banned and drop in price lmao.
This is not a conditional time walk with jtms and bs. It's just a time walk. That you can cast on your opponents turn btw. Banned.
I think people are overestimating Griselbrand quite a bit. I don't think he will see play in Frites at all; he has an awesome ability but he doesn't impact the board right away like Elesh does, and also unlike Elesh, there is no mana base to support hardcasting him if you have to. ELesh is so good in Frites because you can cheat him early through Rites or cast him later if that doesn't work out. Griselbrand is just flat-out a dead draw if you can't dump + reanimate him, or if your opponent is running graveyard hate of any kind. Maybe he could be a singleton, but being able to cast Elesh even if your opponent drops a Grafdigger Cage or exiles your graveyard is a big part of why he's so good. (In addition to potentially wiping your opponent's board / making your mana dorks suddenly very dangerous).
I want Griselbrand to have a home as much as anyone, but he's too much of a Battleship and like every other awesome black card they have been printing lately, nobody but mono-black will ever be able to cast it. The irony is that mono-black is never going to have 8 mana available to do so.
edit: Also everyone buying Temporal Mastery at $30-40 is nuts.
