I remember back in Mirrodin, every Draft time there was a someone that drafted several Dross Prowlers and then they gave me a confused look when I blocked them.
I actually think this is Viable if not insanely problematic after a t3 Asceticism.

~Intelligence is Bliss; Ignorance is Denial.
Skill is an ability that relates more so to the type of deck that's built and how said player pilots it. It also relates to the ability to assess the board and use the cards available to you in the most optimal way relative to each situation.
When a deck is filled with above par cards and every play is solid, there comes a diminishing need to "think" for the lack of wanting to use a better word.
Artifacts can block it, sure, so if only it were in the main color for artifact removal...
I believe this card can make it in T2, actually.
Yeah. It's more redundancy in green evasion (on top of Eldrazi Monument and Overwhelming Stampede), which can only be better. Even if the opponent runs lots of artifact creatures, that's just allowing the green player to use Naturalize and Acidic Slime and other things as an easy "destroy target creature," in green of all colors.
The bigger problem I see with this guy is that while Eldrazi Monument typically only gets destroyed by 3-4 cards in a given deck, this guy gets blown out by 8-12. So, you drop him, push your guys into the red zone against disadvantageous blocks... and this guy gets removed, you one-side wrath yourself and get destroyed next turn.
If I'm remember correctly... This card isn't bad. But on the last comment... I think all the spot removals we're normally has rotated out of the format. The best spot removal for this card... are (Grasp of Darkness, Doom Blade, Condemn, Journey to Nowhere, Flame Slash) Only Doom Blade is applicable in your scenario.
However, in today's culture of Justin Bieber, Jersey Shore, and Twilight, where every song on the radio, every program on television and every site on the internet is just another monument to the pinnacle of human stupidity, it's certainly not the worst thing that people could be watching.
actually i had a combo in my sealed deck with Tanglewurm + Tel Jilad Fallen so the only things that could block it were other green creatures.
^ This. Essentially if the other side has no green, it's free damage. Granted this was my experience in limited which removal is very light minus Grasp of Darkness that could have killed it but I had that artifact shield that gives 0/+4 and vigilance so my wurm wasn't dying anytime soon. It is a truly sick play. Of course the elf is fairly week with only 1 toughness, well within burn range.
Overall a nice way for Green to have some evasion as opposed to cracking down to get eldrazi monument or trampling over crap.

To the people that say that a card needs to be a higher rarity because of Limited... I hate you guys so much. I present to you with this.
Splashing intimidate into green isn't that surprising, but I was surprised that it first appeared on an intimidate "lord" for green creatures. I would have expected it to first show up on a simple wurm or something, first.
At any rate, the card is great, but the abundance of artifact creatures keeps it in check. Pretty much all there is to say.
Outside of the block, it is amazing, lol. My mono green deck will be running this guy for sure. Very nice card. Are people really bringing up it dies to removal? Really? This is a 5 mana card that can win you the game if you have a decent field. It's pretty dang sweet, and literally everything dies to removal, so stop pointing that out. I think having your entire field becoming unblockable is awesome.
Also, remember, green basically has counters for creatures. Vines of the Vastwood and Withstand Death say hello. So you can have nearly as many anti removal spells as they have removal spells, so saying "dies to removal" isn't necessarily true.
People can't seem to realize that this is a game breaking card that doesn't need commitment. Drop it and swing and/or swing with your other guys. And this is green, so unless they have a blocker, ouch.

Yeah, and green, as I pointed out, is also extremely resistant to removal now due to Vines of the Vastwood and Withstand death. I honestly think mono-green is viable now (well, it would be in another block, lol). Thankfully, green has plent of artifact hate.

RnD during Time Spiral:
Rosewater: "Color Pie, WTF is that, If I want Black to be able to wrath, counter and have green creatures then I will damnit!"
Random RnD guy: "RED AKORMA! FTW!"
Gleemax: "Rosewater has broken out of my mind control!"
RnD after 2008:
MaRo: Hmm how do we fix the problems of pricing with cards like Tarmogoyf and Thoughtsieze
Random RnD Guy: OO lets make a new RED RARITY SYMBOL!
MARO: OMGWTFBBQ! Thats a great idea, we'll call it Mythic Rarity!
Gleemax: NOT AGAIN! CELEB
Yeah, true. Still, we have Naturalize and Slice in Twain. And since some removal went away why we green mages still have our Vines of the Vastwood, I don't think playing some fatties will be quite as difficult to do anymore. I mean, some of the best removal period just left standard (thank God), and green is only getting more and more anti removal cards.
I really do want the return of mono colored decks. If the colors aren't tough enough to stand on their own, I think that's actually a bad thing. A color shouldn't be just a "support" color, its themes ought to be fleshed out and potent enough to do what they should effectively.
