I don't know if anyone noticed but they modified the card border for Miracle cards. They added an arrow on the top and put some rays on the top and top side of the card.
It's a quick clue to tell you that something might happen when you draw the card.
What does everyone else think of it?
I think that them messing with the borders is always a good thing. Making cards visually distinctive is aethetically pleasing to me and I enjoy it every time. Might be part of the reason that TS block is my favourite.............
I understand why they would want them to be visually distinct - they cards are EXTREMELY powerful, if you can pull them off for their miracle cost - but I think border playing should be saved for block-wide things, or card types. It was fine with DFCs, but I feel like it's a waste to edit the border for just 1 mechanic that appears on only a handful of cards, in 1 expansion block.
Though if miracle becomes a reoccurring thing, then I'm all for it.
I'm undecided, I'm not sure the designer explored all the options. Seems a bit... lazy. I would have done a wide starburst that pokes out onto the top black edge.
I agree that the arrow adds nothing when those rays stand out so well.
It is also noticeable that the top has a strip of non-gradient color... Honestly I like the border, As it is more noticable, and therefor a better visual clue that card is special at a glance, which is good because for play purposes you want to notice miracle cards before it goes into your hand.

The top black edge needs to stay completely black if you want to use the card in PTQs and other competitive tournaments, otherwise you can notice the miracle just by looking sideways at your deck (even with sleeves) and know you're about to draw it, change your actions based on that, etc. For the same reason professional artworkers never paint on the border even when doing full-art.
