See, it's not that I disagree with a planeswalker in "Sinker" or having all the new planeswalkers be actually new planeswalkers. But there is no source. There is nothing in MaRo's tumblr. Nada at the SDCC panel. Zilch at Aaron Forsythe's twitter or Brady Dommermuth's mothership thread. I agree with the speculation, but let's not pretend it's confirmed. All I ask is for a few more links or a lot more 'probably's.
All the other speculation seems sound.
The guy at SDCC panel did say there was 4 PW all together in RtR and Gatecrash.
In the past we haven't needed an article from the Mothership to "confirm" a rumor. When an influential employee of Wizards says something.. I mean you can't do much better than that.
On the Player Cup championship coverage, Mark said that the second planeswalker is a she and that she's a brand new planeswalker (uncertain whether that rules out Kiora, but it's certainly not Nissa).

Interesting. I missed a lot of the Players Cup and missed almost all of Day 2. I didn't even know MaRo was speaking. There should be some previews on Saturday. Anywhere we can find the recording of what was said?
With the 2nd Planeswalker in RTR not being confirmed for an unannounced Female Walker....Does this now increase the odds of Jace 4.0 being a UW or UR Planeswalker?

No, because they already established Jace's motivation and nailed down the aspects of what he's like in RTR in the Ravnica: Then and Now article.
And it does not match those colors. Just blue.
Now, if two of the new walkers in RTR block are both female, the females get a bit closer to equality.
Also, a small tidbit about the planeswalkers: Each of the current female character walkers that we have cards for represent a different color. Liliana is black, Nissa is Green, Chandra is Red, Elspeth is White, and Tamiyo is Blue.

It's about time for the reserved list to die, for the sake of Vintage and Legacy (And Commander).
I'm really hoping for more non-human walkers too. I'd really like to see a nice gorgon golgari walker. Or a :symg::symw: Dryad. Or a :symu::symr: fairy.

Again with the "vast void of female planeswalkers in Magic"
Wizards will make 'walkers as they come up with good characters. They do not have to go boy-girl-boy-girl like some kindergarten classroom exercise. Their target demographic is mostly male 14+, with the serious players and tournament goers being 21+.
I expect a female walker every set, because girls are awesome; but I have to laugh at the notion that there absolutely has to be an equal number of "girl and boy" walkers. What are we afraid of? Will Sarkhan the Sad not have a date to the Planeswalker's Prom?

I think you misunderstand me. I do not care one way or the other if one gender is in the majority, I'd just like it to be less unbalanced. 11 to 5 (and one neuter). That means that there are over twice as many male planeswalkers to female ones.
Now, if it where, for example 15 to 10, I wouldn't have a problem as it would only be a 50% discrepancy.
(I also feel we need more female characters in magic in general. But to be honest, most of the ones we have are strong and independent characters.)
It would be pretty progressive to print a tramsgender planeswalker. Lol i dont think thats on wizards agenda though
Well, Karn is technically a Neuter. And he used to have the heart of a female (Xantcha's Heartstone). So, one could argue for Karn being a post-op female to male transgender.

If that's the majority of the target audience, I suspect that mos that audience is hetro, thus the creation of more female 'walkers will increase demand. As some of my friends have a Female Binder.
Karn isn't gender neutral. He is definately male(gender and sex aren't the same thing. He might be asexual, but his personality/gender is definitively male.)
I'd rather we just have more non-human walkers. With all the different races and worlds Magic has to offer, Humans seem to have the best odds of having and activating sparks it seems.

Brian Tinsman, Set Designer :?mana::snow::snow:
Legendary Creature – Human Designer (MR)
Brian Tinsman, Set Designer can only be cast during the third set of a block.
When Brian Tinsman, Set Designer enters the battlefield, ignore all flavor and mechanics of the first two sets in the block. "Ok so what do we have here... gothic horror? Scrap it. Expand the Devine Vs. Demonic duel deck to 244 cards and print it!"

There is some speculation surrounding a WG walker in Heroes' Reunion.
If that was her, then it would be like lotr. Nissa is a wood elf pw and this chick is a high elf pw. I hope it isn't true, I would like a r/b or maybe a w/u pw. w/g is lame lol

I've been saying that for a while now. I am glad we will be getting more female walkers.
As it is now, we have what, eleven males, five females, and one gender neutral (Karn) walker
Let's break it down.
Males: Jace, Garruk, Tibalt, Sorin, Gideon, Nicol Bolas, Sarkhan, Tezzeret, Ajani, Venser (deceased), Koth,
Females: Liliana, Nissa, Chandra, Elspeth, Tamiyo.
Gender Neutral: Karn.
Quite the discrepancy.
Now, if two of the new walkers in RTR block are both female, the females get a bit closer to equality.

If it was the same case with Legendary Creatures, I'm sure there are quite a few //gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Search/Default.aspx?action=advanced&type=+[%22Legendary%22">+[%22Creature%22]"]male legends drinking off to the side together.

Interesting. As much as I would love a BR walker right now, I'm leaning towards Legendary Guild Champion
Yeah.. seems possible replacement for Lyzolda
