Don't spend $100+ dollars on a baneslayer angel, it will be the biggest waste of cash in your magic career. Baneslayer often dies before it does anything. Opponents always save up a spot removal to kill it if you are playing white.
Do you want to pay $160 for a card that all it will ever do is eat a path or terminate?
A budget option is Battlegrace Angel. 99.999/100 out of 100 they do the exact same thing. Die the turn they come in. Yes battlegrace dies to bit blast, cant live and block a broodmate, doesnt beat jar jar sphinx in combat, and dies to Halo Hunter. Would you want to spend $120 extra dollars to do those things though? Lol thats the only question here.
Well, if you're playing Competitive then you're pretty much playing either Vampires or Jund, Boros Bushwhacker, or RDWRF If you aren't, then you aren't playing competitively. None of those decks use BSA (except maybe BB, with like 2 in the SB).
Get a job that pays more and ebay them for 30. I used to not want to fork out 130$ for Tarmos but once I did I was very pleased. Its better just to buy all the cards when they are first released. I got Baneslayers for 6 a piece, Knight of the Relequery for 3 a piece and Vampire Nocturnus for 2.5 a piece. Now I have all the best cards in standard for the cost of one BSA just by investing early.

naya lotus angel is a pretty strong deck with alot of top 8 finishes so far, and runs some baneslayers, but the baneslayer isn't essential to the decks success

Baneslayer was never 6, and buying knight of reliquary before landfall was just a guess on your part.
Jund is a great deck if you have $250 to spend on pieces of cardboard! Here's how I budgeted it out (using the average price on magiccards.info):
4 Verdant Catacombs=17.27x4=69.08
4 Rootbound Crag=9.24x4=36.96
4 Dragonskull Summit=11.48x4=45.92
4 Maelstrom Pulse=21.62x4=86.48
4 Garruk Wildspeaker=11.63x4=46.52
4 Broodmate Dragon=6.61x4=26.44
Totaling a little over $300 for the money cards. You wouldn't run a full set of everything, though. You'd probably only want to go 2x Garruk and 3x Broodmate, and not necessarily a full set of each dual land. (Please no flaming me for not including Lotus Cobra, Jund can win without it, no problem). You could make Jund on $250. I'm putting one together (probably for Regionals, I'll modify it as WWK/Prosper get released) for $200. I don't have that many money cards, either. (1 dual land, that's it)

I'm not sure you even need any Garruks for Jund. the core of the deck is Bloodbraid Elf, which is pretty cheap.
If you want a decent standard deck for cheap, do a google search for Boros Bushwhacker, or look at the lists for it here. (Ignore any goofy versions that run BSA.)

I'll be sad if people don't start calling The Chain Veil "Fleetwood Mac."
