So, it looks like Werewolves, and perhaps other monsters, will rejoin humanity.
Weird, though. I believed Avacyn had never demonstrated the power to tame werewolves...
Eh, I'd expect just the wolves and spirits to back humanity.
Vampires kind of.... eat them and the zombies are clearly getting their stitched together butts handed to them.
I still think that Avacyn would lead a global crusade that would result to the countless deaths of vampires, werewolves, devils, and demons......
Making Sorin regret his decision of freeing her and turning this into another tragic block like Alara, Zendikar, and Scars (only this time the monsters are the ones who are going extinct). And since Sorin is no longer as powerful as he once was, I don't think he'll be able to take on Avacyn this time......
Since, the Stormkirks appear to be somewhat sympathetic to the human plight and understand that no humans means no lunch. If Avacyn do lead a crusade, they could be one of the few vampires to be spared from this potential onslaught.

He created her, no way Avacyn could beat an old level Sorin. But since Sorin is no longer as powerful as he once were, there's a chance that Avacyn could defy him "this time" and do vampire exterminating.

The Avacyn Restored trailer is out, Sorin (and Garruk) aren't even mentioned.
It shows the people of Innistrad pushing back against the monsters.
well to be fair they where the narrators to the first two. Loved the trail loved Lilis voice actress! And is the other voice Thilai or Avacyn?
And it sorta shows the werewolves being turned into servents of Avacyn, maybe explaining why their no transform cards. All werewolves (and other transformers) are perma transformed and act as Avacyns hell hounds.
“There are no weak Jews. I am descended from those who wrestle angels and kill giants. We were chosen by God. You were chosen by a pathetic little man who can't seem to grow a full mustache"
"You can tell how dumb someone is by how they use Mary Sue"
Just how powerful is that veil. Just like that, Liliana could turn angels and demons into dust......
It's approximately a thousand undead souls of necromantic trolls whispering into her ears at any given time.
She laid waste to an entire castle in a single swoop.
And she's already been able to kill angels in single combat, so that's not new.
On Innistrad, demons can't be killed. Not permanently. Avacyn tried that, and when it failed, she created the Helvault to imprison them. That seemed to work, for the most part, until Gristlebrand tricked her.
However, how exactly does Liliana plan on killing Gristlebrand? I'm sure letting him respawn isn't something she's willing to do...

It seems to me that individual demons can be killed, it's just that their energy goes back into forming a new demon. I assume that they have no recollection of their past lives, so killing Gristlebrand should work well enough even if he does reform as someone new.
I want an Innistrad Novel, Comics, and even better a Movie. The story is too good not to be told! I'm not content with the trailers and Doug Beyer's articles!

Well, I for one am sorely disappointed. It happened exactly how people had predicted it. And that's why it sucks. I had a far better story. Barinellos said that he thought that "a mutant zombie thalia" (a gross simplification of what I said) would be strange. But it would fit with Innistrad far better than a truly everyone lives happy ending.

I'm still going to be at the edge of my seat until the set closes officially, I do not want to keep my hopes up that much yet.
Before you know it, Liliana might just kill Avacyn for teh lulz after getting rid of Griselbrand. (Yeah, I'm paranoid, I have watched too much series' that had lots of random "lol you is dead" twists.)

I'm still waiting for the Twist. Innistrad has a lot of potential, and I hope they don't waste it. Thalia, however, is my favorite character and card in the entire block so far, so they better not destroy her
What I want to know, is what is that guy in the Tower up to? What has old Jarik found, or seen? He's who I'm interested in.

I'm pretty sure the point of the block's story arc was to emulate a classic horror plot, meaning that it ends with the villains defeated and the surviving heroes safe and intact.
And we don't have an indication that everything will be sunshine and rainbows immediately, either. Avacyn's back and so is the power of her church, but there are a ton of demons escaping from the Helvault, and I doubt they are going to make life easy for the humans even with their divine power back on their side.

Including crappy sequels? Because if the demons are left alive and all we get in the way of resolution is that Lily killed Griselbrand then buggered off, we're heading for a sequel in 10 years.

Considering the popularity of Innistrad, a return to the plane doesn't seem unlikely at all, regardless of the conclusion of the story arc or meta-jokes about modern horror movies (which are not the same as classic horror movies. Think Hammer Films, not Nightmare on Elm Street.)
