Unless they have trial versions on their website, this is illegal.
If only this was useful information... anyways...
One more question, What are some good websites to get artwork from especially ones with a list of the artist names?
I know that a lot of my students use the free 60 day trial that you can get at http://www.adobe.com/downloads/ (clever address eh?)
It's not 100% complete, but it should get you where you need to be.
And with question #2, are you just looking for a collection of lots of images?

As far as cool images to use for proxies, I've always used DeviantArt. You can find some amazing artwork there.

I can try the trial, what version do you recommend to use for "cleaning, resizing and glossing" my proxies an yes a site with alot of "fantasy" related images.

There is really only one current version of Photoshop, so just get CS5 if your computer will support it. That said, I really don't know anything about how the Proxy process works... check out the Proxy thread here since those guys know more about where to mine for images. I would also suggest Deviant Art, but have never used it for anything MTG related.
Does anyone know if I can use any Magic The Gathering artwork for my blog? Is any of it available for public domain, or will I get in trouble if I use it?

Hey all artwork lovers. I just got Photoshop Elements 10 as an early Christmas present. I'm not the best with computer stuff (without guidance) so that's why I'm here. Can somebody PM me with a little how-to guide to start making banners? Thanks all.

It's all owned by WotC or the Artists themselves; I'd recommend reading up on Fair Use, but as long you're making it clear who the art belongs to & not making commercial use of it, you'll probably be ok (this is not legal advice ).
So I play Garruk Wildspeaker and Beast Within and both creates 3/3 Green Beast tokens. I have the 4 original beast tokens that are made by wizards but I want more. Does anyone have any digital 3/3 green beast tokens that they don't mind posting or making and then posting for me to print out so I can just glue them onto a rules card? Any art with a cool beast on it would be awesome for me to have. (I would like the token frame and the 3/3 box and subtypes as well)
Or any beast picture that you guys think would be a cool looking beast token and I could do it myself. Thanks!
I'm staring at my brand new Lion's Eye Diamond playset, and my exacto knife. I've tried the knife method on a couple dozen lands, and comparable cheapy baubles and such, with moderate success.
At what point can I just shrug and rip into serious money? If the Diamonds turn out, I'd be fleshing out a couple decks with the free time I've accumulated, so this could be a sort of all or nothing moment for me.

What are you asking? Are you talking about making 3d cards? And is this a technical question or do you need us to tell you "go for it! Gooooo for eeeeeet!!!" ?
I'm lacking both knowledge of how to finish the process I've started, and motivation.
I've been scraping ink off via exacto knife, and it has been working with enough practice. Not sure whether I should do it to my mana sources or not as of yet. I also find that I can't get a smooth card product from the process, as the ink wells up on the newly rehashed surfaces of the card and makes it uneven.
After recently building a Giest list i have decided to get the general altered for EDH. I was thinking have it along the lines of Famous partners some ideas to get the ball rolling :

I want to make altered art cards for sale on ebay. I have two vampires paintings that are really good, however I don't know what vampires to put them on. Both are female.
Should I do baron sengir? if so, what other vampire should I alter? I want a popular card people will want to buy so I can make my money back.

That arcana gives them all, but they are far too small for use as wallpapers
Please, hasn't anyone dug these out of the files of the game? (I have the xbox version)
PM me.
Thanks

Don't you have to pay for full access to the site?

No. Access is free. Paying for membership only give you the ability to remove ads and customize your page, but otherwise everything is free to view.

I am not in the know about printing onto cards, but if you haven't checked out the Cube Forum you should. They do a lot of stripping and printing on cards and I suspect it's what you are looking for. If not let us know.
