Cute card. I do agree with Brenag that it should be a 3/3 or 4/4 naturally since she gives herself a counter. While she definitely feels pure green, I assume the touch of blue is for some Simic-ish feel or maybe just for EDH purposes, but if she costed 3GG it wouldn't feel weird.

Changes later (on my phone now) but she's blue both for flavor and because her ability can be used to strip counters from your opponents. Sorry about not posting the text version I barely had enough time to post it at all.

The fact that she hoses other generals that use +1/+1 counters is kind of busted. She can render an Animar virtually useless. "Oh, in response to you casting the creature spell, after Animar gets the +1/+1 counter, I'll remove it from him and regenerate him." That needs to change.

The last ability doesn't even work. Why not just make it "G, Remove a +1/+1 counter from a creature you control: Regenerate that creature." You don't even need to target...

Okay, how about "Remove a +1/+1 counter from a creature you control: Regenerate that creature"? I'm pretty sure it works. If it doesn't, you can always use Crustacean's or have a replacement effect:
"If a creature you control with a +1/+1 counter on it would be destroyed, you may remove a +1/+1 counter from it and regenerate it instead."

That was the original version. If you look on the first page you'll see she's changed quite a lot. I was told that "a cost can't have a target," so I changed it to something else then changed it to this. Thanks, anyway though.

The replacement effect protects it from destruction twice, though. "If it would be destroyed, instead remove a +1/+1 counter from it and regenerate it." That a) prevents the current instance of destruction and b) gives a regeneration shield. If it was destroyed from lethal damage, it then gets destroyed again and uses up its regeneration shield, but if it was (say) Doom Bladed, it just ends up having a regeneration shield. The activated ability works better.

You do realise how easy that is to fix, right?
It's all one clause so I don't even think it works that way: [If a critter with a counter would be destroyed], [(Instead tap it, remove all damage from it, and remove it from combat) and remove a counter].
You have to drop the "instead" and use the Clergy of the Holy Nimbus wording. Otherwise, gaining a regeneration shield replaces the destruction event in its entirety.
I still think the activated ability is better because it lets you have a creature die if that's what you want.
