This is the brand new username change thread. The old one was titled "Who Wants a Username Change" and can be found here. This is a new one because the old one was getting full and could use some clarification.
All username changes must still abide by the forum rules. That means nothing tablebreaking or overly obscene. Also, we will not change your username to something like "CrAzY KIDDDddzz1337" because it is overly annoying and is practically the opposite of what this tries to accomplish in regard to cleaning up names.
Small changes to user names (small changes include things such as Adding/removing of numbers, adding a comma, capitalizing letters etc) are easy and small fixes. As long as you aren't doing it repetitively, there is no problem with fixing these. Just post here with what you want it changed to and it shall be done.
Larger changes follow much different principles. Adding a lot to your name or even changing your name entirely follows a special set of rules. You may technically only receive one major name change every few months, but if you come back constantly every few months because you want your name changed you will reach a point where your name will not be changed. Find a name you like and keep it!
In addition, you need to have a significant amount of time vested in the site to get your name changed. If nobody knows who you are, then you're better off just making a new account. Being here a while and having a fairly high post count are good indicators of this. Use major name changes sparingly and not as jokes! We will not simply reverse your name because you wanted to make your name a joke and its been three days and your joke is now boring.
It is highly recommended, although not required, that you keep your avatar and signature image the same for a little while after your name change so that people can still recognize who you are. It is also usually a good idea to put in your signature for the first little while who you were before you got your name changed to assist people.
Also, remember that you'll have to use your new username to log in next time you try.
After you make your post and the change happens, your post will be deleted and you will be added to the changed users list below.

I would like to have my name changed from Polski to Atlas. I realize that there's an atlas here, but the first letter is not capitalized in their name, and I don't even think they're active (seeing as they registered in '06 and they're still stuck with the "just getting started" tag.
I could list my reasons for wanting this change, but it's mildly personal. I'd rather not post it, and I'm sure you'd rather not waste the time reading it.
