As for the Werewolf: If it only transforms when it is dealt damage, then it might as well just have one toughness to begin with (since it transforms into a 2/1, and then dies due to the damage marked on it).
Sorry I haven't been involved with the creation of this thing, but you guys have come up with a great concept here! The one thing I would change is the flip trigger on the night side, to "Whenever Throatripper Prime is dealt damage, transform it at the beginning of the next upkeep."
1) It won't just die when it flips, which is both unintuitive and uninteresting. I mean, you're better off giving it "When this is dealt combat damage, destroy it" so it's less confusing (yet the same functionality). At that point, why have a flip card?
2) It triggers for any kind of damage, which I much prefer since it's pretty tough to get combat damage in there on a 4/3 first strike without just killing it (who really plays with 1/5 creatures, right?). The flavour is better here too.
3) It flips on the next upkeep, keeping it more in line with other werewolves.
That's my vote anyway. I like what we've got so far a lot.
Well, tomorrow my servitude begins. 5 weeks of hard labour. I'm trying to rationalize it, but here's how much I hate it: I've contemplated breaking my own leg every time I get sentenced back there.
What kind of hard labour are we talking here? Are you at least getting paid?
How did your birthday go, by the way? Did you have a party or anything?
Abby! You'll be happy to know that I've made some real progress on your dragon. For a long time I wasn't really sure what I wanted to do with it since I knew I wanted more than just a simple extension, yet Donato Giancola's art doesn't really lend itself to much else. So I'm changing things a bit, and I think I found a direction that will work. Don't worry, it will still be the same Shivan Dragon you know and love, just posing a little differently. Hopefully it turns out well in the end and you like what I'm trying (assuming I can successfully get the proportions on the legs right ;)).
I would have finished it yesterday, but then my wife and I decided to pick our cherries before the wasps got them since they were getting ripe. Many hours later we have 25 litres of cherries ready to be made into pies throughout the next year! Yum!
I would like to request that August's title have something to do with sharks, since Shark Week starts on August 12, and Shark Week is (imo) the best week of the year. I have not thought of what this title might be, but I will think on it.
In other news, I was taken to see The Dark Knight Rises yesterday.
I felt meh about the movie. There were places where it got REALLY slow and I didn't believe Anne Hathaway as Catwoman (though the role was well-written), but I didn't believe she was going to leave at that one place. I wanted more Robin as Robin instead of Robin as noble cop. I Gary Oldman. Bane's costume was awesome. Tom Hardy is awesome. Also, this movie needed more Michael Caine. And that's how I felt about it.
I had to restart the head of the llama/hat. I think I got it now, but it's hard to knit and watch the Olympics, because I get excited about the competition.
@Stardust: I know it will be worth the wait. And if you throw that Rith, the Awakener in there, it'll be even more worth it (because I really want to build that EDH deck around him).

Seems good to me! Now we just need someone to get us some art. Anyone seen jomafro?
Yep, that looks fantastic, Kank! But again, that's just my vote, so if y'all think the other wording is better, you know. I think it should be an uncommon, by the way.

1) Shark week is awesome! Nod to text based games?
"Zork! August just blew you into [The Crafters]' shark tank! There is a shark here. What do you do? >█"
I wish I could make that block flash somehow...
2) I don't have a spare Rith. Wasn't it a Woolly Thoctar? I've got two of them in the sleeve, ready to go already.

Nice title!
I'll take Wooly Bullies instead, I suppose. I thought you had a Rith. Maybe I was confused.

Now we just need some art and a card layout then.
Pat mentioned drawing some pics the other day--were you serious Pat, or were you pulling your shenanigans on us again?
Werewolf: Looks good just a small templating issue to get what we want it would probably be best if we us a variation on the current transform back ability. The way we have it, it reads as though the ability would fire immediately on the furball getting damaged that would transform it during the next upkeep, I'm not sure if it clear though the clean up step.
And easier reading ability that definitely works would be 'At the beginning of each upkeep, if ~ was dealt damage last turn, transform ~'.

With my wording, if you Gutshot my Prime, then I Gutshot my Prime, on the following upkeep it will transform, then transform back. We don't want that, so I think Kahedron's change is a good one.
Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think we actually need an image. Of course, it would be good (and fun) as a bonus anyway!

Is this correct now?
Well, we want to at least make up a mock card and put something cool on it to look at, right?
Shall we just start scouring the net for viable images instead?
Werewolf: Looks good! Do we have an artist? If not, then the web is our best bet.
----------
@DQ: Well, if something does turn out to go wrong when you end up trying, then I guess you don't have to do it (and maybe you could try the jump another time as a different character with a potentially less revealing outfit)... And I don't know if I'm overestimating your jumping ability (I hope not!), but I'm pretty sure you should be able to do something like that (unless you're wearing heels, but common sense dictates that you shouldn't).
@Stardust: Have you been following with my music quizzes recently?
Now the wolf template looks complete. As fas as the illustration goes, I'd like to contribute, but I haven't drawn anything that ambitious in quite some time (and I'm still having scanner issues :(. ). However, I can provide an idea for the setting in case anyone else would like to take a crack at illustrating:
Day-side: A black-aligned werewolf in its human form. Show a female human dressed in a tribal-style outfit about to be "anointed" with the blood of a slain adversary. It could be that the human has the blood on her own hands and is about to paint her face with it. Show that the human feels power from the blood and that she might be a little apprehensive about undergoing the impending transformation.
Mood: "In blood there is fearsome power."
Night-side: Show a fully transformed werewolf with visible "warpaint" consisting of the recently applied blood. The werewolf looks manic, ready to rip anyone who comes within arm's reach with reckless abandon. Perhaps the werewolf is standing over a felled foe?

Ah, see... That's the issue I have. I'm not sure if she's wearing heels or not... I am absolutely insane and will make the dress within less than a half of a half of a percent difference unless needed. So, I'm not sure...
And a fantasy female character not in revealing clothing?! Those exists? o.O
(You are totally overestimating my jumping ability...)
Boris Vallejo: I remember that art. He and his wife/girlfriend (not sure which) actually had a short-lived CCG called Hyborian Gates around 1995 (never played it, but there was plenty of flesh to be viewed).
And new official Crafter? Yay!
Oh, and the Shark Tank/August pun title sounds like a winner .
Some suggestions:
"August of Wind Carries You to [The Crafters] Thread... and It Has a Lovely View"
"Would You August that [The Crafters] are Making <insert name of something summer related or something else that sounds witty> ?"
... Hard labor? Is this some kind of landscaping project?

I could, but I have no idea how long you'd be waiting for a fully rendered piece, not to mention the general issues of tracking down a scanner.
(And I don't think I can get any drawing like this done within that time...)

Why yes indeed, the ones wearing no clothing at all!
Just Google "Boris Vallejo Images" and you'll see LOTS!
