KoolKoal: Feel free to take this with a grain of salt since self meta isn't particularly helpful, but I think I get scumread mostly for style over substance, but also for a certain lack of substance over style. It's not so much what I AM posting most of the time (though sometimes that can seem bad) but what I'm NOT posting. I've been told I come to non-obvious conclusions a lot, so when I post, quite a bit of the time there's jumps in logic that people can't follow and they think that's scummy. I get that accusation about a lot of questions I ask specifically. People call them "busy work" when the questions are legit etc.
As far as things to ignore, I can't think of anything. I would suggest you focus less on what I'm doing and more on how I'm doing it. That's probably more likely to be accurate. Like I've just said, what I do tends to come off a little weird, but if you look for how I do it, mindset comes into play and maybe you figure out something useful.

Looks like we're down to three players, assuming KCC joins us. Again, it's not a formal play session; just talking and getting ready to just jump in next time we get together. Organizing characters and getting familiar with the game table is pretty much all we're doing unless you guys really just want to start.

when is it though? today or tomarrow? My availability hinges on that.

You guys know the mermaid documentary that was recently released?
I got into a debate yesterday as to why mermaids are an impossibility. I asked this girl why she thought they could even physically happen.
"Well, um, y'know, evolution."
So I presented a multifaceted case as to why it simply cannot be. And her response?
"...I feel like you don't understand how evolution works."
I wanted to smack her through my phone and shout, "I FEEL LIKE YOU DON'T KNOW HOW ANYTHING WORKS." Seriously. Probability, heredity, physiology, fluid physics, there are so many things that say "NOPE" and she has the audacity to just completely handwave that and tell ME I don't understand how the universe works.

We will use Eco's mumble server for our game. Everyone in the clan is invited to hang out or play, but I can't support more than 6 players (the game kind of dissolves after 6).
Monks are pretty kick ass.
Yes, we will start at level 1, because the campaign is geared for leveling from 1 to 14. I've never finished the whole thing, but I've gotten a group to level 12. They had a blast with it. If we do somehow manage to finish it, I can easily continue the story into epic level or we can reroll. You will be level 3 by the end of the first adventure, and each adventure takes about 2 sessions in my experience.
Awwww, you guys played DnD? I wish I had internet connection.
So, how's everyone been doing? I've been working insane amounts of OT and currently have an ear infection.
We haven't really played yet. It was just a character building session. If anyone still wants to play, I need a character sheet and a portrait by Sunday.
On your character's profile thingy you can click "choose a profile photo" or "upload a new profile photo" to add a picture. Zionite can take it from there.
I see the Custom Card Creation for the Clan Contest has started.
Round One: Making a double faced card were both sides need to have the Creature Type - Werewolf.
Does anyone know of a Werewolf that gets stronger over time? (EG: From a movie, book, TV, etc...) Thought this would be a good starting point. Thoughts?
EDIT: I assume we are joining in, but I did not post in the Clan Contest Thread to say we are. Didn't want to step on anyone's toes.

Yeah, please don't step on ZDS' toes. He's liable to go all Mommy Dearest on you.
I'm sure we'll participate, as we are CotY bound this year, but as usual, I'll have no part in this particular contest. Trust me, it's better that way.

Pffft, you've seen nothing yet. I'm on the specialty list after all.

Hate to be a poo-pooer of ideas, but I'm not a huge fan of this. Destroy all lands at 5 is overpowerd and doesn't really fit flavorfully with the idea of a werewolf. Not only that, but once it's in play, if two spells are played in a turn, destroy all lands again. This card alone makes the game unfun and stalematey.

If you're town and I'm mafia, you've already lost. You just don't know it yet.
Instead of destroying lands it could be more like Plow Under or could have a different type affect like Bad Moon, and the werewolf itself being :symb:.
Then the flip side could have: Whenever ~ attacks, it gets +1/+1 for each card in your oppenets hand or whenever ~ attacks, other attacking creatures that are and/or get +1/+1 until the end of turn.

But those were my favorite games!
I tossed that idea out in 5 minutes. I know it's not good, but I see two avenues to explore with a werewolf: play in color to a destructive effect (opposing most of the current cards), or play off color for splash effects (my original thought was a GW enchantment tutor (sort of adding a magic effect to a werewolf).
I think this card is a solid start, if only because it's a splashy end-game effect that controls the board in R - making it a difficult inconsistent splash into a RDW or creature deck. It's the type of card I always liked to design around just for fun.
Pffft, you've seen nothing yet. I'm on the specialty list after all.
Yeah, not touching that one with a 10 foot pole.
This game is perfectly normal.
As long as it's not complex, we're good. I still want to check it out before it runs.
r_0 asked me last night if I wanted to check out Werewolf cards with him for ideas for the contest, and I told him yeah, albeit hesitantly. I'm not going to, though. I have enough on my plate without trying to participate in CCC.
When ~ enters the battlefield or deals combat damage to an opponent, put a land card from your hand into play.

At end of turn, if ~dealt combat damage to the opponent, transform ~.

I have a character concept I'm going to run with, and see what class it lands in.

My issue is that I have too many character concepts.
Ravenloft my concept fits in perfectly.
I'm in a total of three other campaigns, one if which is Ravenloft... This should be fun.
Edit:Wait is it sunday or monday? If its sunday i won't be able to make it. I'll donate my dnd resources in any case.
