I don't have any hard numbers on this, but I'm targeted more often than a black guy driving a beat-up sedan with a broken tail-light and no license plate, and Cy's well aware of that.

Before I sent, I read the rules again and quickly swapped things up. Unfortunately, my SASE has nasty black marker erase marks where my name should have been. >_>
I went to the post office to day... sent the cards and a SASE via priority mail with enough postage on the SASE to get the wieght in cards back. Since it takes about 2-3 days to get there, I figure it should arrive on Wed the 17th just making the deadline.
Lesurgo did say he was going to be away for like a week. Dunno what day he's coming back.

My apologies but due to some unforseen events I have to drop out of this. Happy holidays to the rest of you!

I apologize for the lack of PM's back... Mysteriously, the "free wi-fi" at the hotel morphed into "dial-up modem". Hmmm...
I'm going to move the date to the 19th because everybody deserves a chance to participate. Hopefully I will have everyone's cards by then. I'm sure there will be a couple of stragglers as always, so if yours aren't here by then, don't panic, you'll still get someone else's cards.
A ton of packages came while I was gone. I have to say, there's some really, really cool stuff in here. The cards of course that everybody was required to send, but along with them have been several elaborate letters, a pack of sleeves, and even a voucher for a very cool gaming storage product called Dragon's Egg. (It's really awesome.) I'm very excited for this years exchange! Thanks to everyone who has sent in packages so far!
whenever you can, can we get an update on whose stuff has arrived?
Seconded. Delivery confirmation says you got my stuff, but want to be sure.

I had to come home to get more $$ cuz postage went up since the last time I sent a package. >.< But my cards should arrive on Monday or Tuesday. Murphy's Law ruined this Monday and yesterday I accepted a new job and had to do stuff for that. *sigh* I'm sending alot of cards this time, 4 "packages" and 1 just for Gavin, and I hope people will enjoy what I send.
When will a spolier be available so all of us here at mtgsalvation can see what was sent in? I am hoping before Christmas rolls around.
And Lesurgo, question: if you have pushed the date to the 19th, when might you be shipping them out? I have a feeling that there are many, many more modded cards than last year, so i know it'll take longer to ship them, but the 20th? I am hoping by the 22nd so most who are are stateside can get there's before ol' Mr. Jolly sqeezes his chunky hips down the chimney.
Merry Christmas, happyHanukkah, and have a hip-hoppin'Kwanza to all!
It may bea ***** slap, but it is also a lack of knowlwedge of how well Lesurgo prepared for this so his end has a minimal amount of work to do. He puts the cards in the envelopes, seals them, and drops them off. No writing of addresses, no buying and sticking on of stamps, just the chance fora few envelope paper-cuts.
True, it is a lot to manage, but he did have a requirement to send in with the modded cards SASE (self addressed sealed envelope). So, all he needs is A) A LOT of spit, B) one of those handy sponges-atop-a-plastic-beaker-of-water thingees, (or) C) An eager dog who like the taste of envelope glue (as in doggy likes to lick envelopes).

I will be sending them off on the night of the 19th (tomorrow) after mail has came. As mentioned, with most people sending a self addressed envelope this year, it makes the process fairly easy for me.
There will be a spoiler of all cards sent. I'm thinking about putting it up either the 25th or 26th.
I have no problem with you guys asking questions about the process. Feel free to go ahead!
Thanks for getting back to us on that question. We all very much appreciate the time and effort you put into something like this. It is just a simple gift of giving.
The first wave of all the ones I've received so far was sent out last night. I've received a few more today, and so I think I'll probably make another mail run on Monday or Tuesday.
Lesurgo: I want you to know I find this concept really cool and I thank you for all of your time and effort you put into it. That said, I would appreciate it even more if you where to post a list of who's cards you have recieved so far. I'm think mine made it in time, but if I see my name on that list it would make me feel better. I'm fairly certain that I'm not the only one who feels this way.
I'm going to post up a list of who's receiving which cards (which will give all names of cards I've received) later tonight. I made sure to write them down as I was doing it. Sorry about the delay, I had obligations today that I needed to take care of first.
Yeah, I forgot to send a self-addressed stamped envelope as well... <_<
>_>
Sorry about that, Lesurgo!

It's a lot to manage, I have a feeling.
I think it was reported that he won't spoil them until everyone receives their present.
Just monitoring what was sent and what was received is a lot of stuff for one guy, especially during busy holidays.
Lesurgo, tell me to shut up if you are a superman and are handling it no problem!
Hey, I'm as excited as a little kid on Christmas Eve, but everything will work out in time.
Happy Holidays!
