Apologies if the above was not clear, could you please report the individual posts not the accounts themselves. Due to the sheer number of posts they are creating if you report the bot we are going to kill it but leave their posts intact on the forum.

Spam is getting really bad, I've been reporting each one I come across....stuff they are spamming is pretty dubious too lol, fake passports and stuff.
The fake passport and stolen credit card spambots have been coming in waves for a couple years. I've taken care of the most recent one, but in general the response time tends to correlate to when a mod spots them (to give you a better idea of how our system works, all mods have bot-banning rights, but reports only go to the relevant local mod and senior staff. There's some exceptions, but in general, someone that's a Legacy mod like me would be unable to see the reports on a bot in another sub like Entertainment). As we handle the individual bots, the admins and Feyd will typically see if they're coming from a chokepoint that can be answered with something like an IP Ban.
The Korean bots on the other hand are brand new. As best we can tell, we got noticed by a bot farm and have been attracting a lot of their activity since then. Because this is a new threat (so to speak), we don't yet have all of the IP bans and other preemptive bot measures up to fully stop this specific new source.
Just got to say, you've definitely earned distinction as an MTGS hero

Because he's the hero MTGS deserves, and the one it needs right now. So we'll global him. Because he can take it. Because he's not just our hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector. An expired rascal.

Have you considered limiting new thread creation to either users with X number of posts or users that have joined X number of days ago (or a combination thereof)?
Any more of this, and Team Troll will be more than just a name.
I know where you post.
