Here's my effort - a tribute to Tedin's original. I've attached two copies... the original sketch and the fully completed colour version, just for laughs.
Drawn and coloured in Photoshop with a Wacom tablet.
You fetch points for drawing it yourself. I mean, I'm not rippin' on doing it completely on the computer, I know it takes effort and skill, but it doesn't compare to the real deal. Good job, man.
I think it's inappropriate to already name a winner, here's a section of the design I've been working on.
They're only saying that because everyone up to this point have been submiting 'hardly worked' peices. I'm sure there'll be a good selection by the end date.
I'm not trying to be a dick here, but I have less respect for computer-generated artwork. I can't do it, but then again, I can't do pen and paper artwork either. It just seems so artificial. It never really looks as cool. Again, I'm not just flaming or anything, but pen and paper seems more skill-oriented while program stuff seems more formula-oriented.
You didn't tell me you had posted your entry, Shloukas. I've got to say that it turned out to be an excellent drawing; I think you illustrated the "1 damage to you" aspect well, with the blood dripping from the clenched fist. The eyes really caught my attention as well. Very nicely done.

Although I agree with your words, Computer Generated work still requires skill to make good. If a larger portion of the audience continues to vote for Computer generated work, then the contest guidlines will most likly need to be changed, or encourage computer generated work.

I don't think its an issue either way - I don't see why the guidelines would need to be changed. Computer generated artwork requires a high degree of skill (I certainly have no idea how to get good results) and it has always been accepted as a medium for entry. If I remember correctly, the submission which won the re-creation of Word of Command was entirely computer generated.
While it mightn't be suited to some people's tastes (mine included - I'm a bit of a traditionalist :P) there's certainly no reason why people should think they aren't entitled to enter the contest if they have something they generated on the computer.
While I'm here... thanks to those who said they liked my entry. Muchly appreciated.

What? I would very much like to hear an explanation for this statement.
