On the Logic Knot/Mortify frames, the inner border lining the artwork, all of them, top l/h corner is not pinched like the other 3 corners. Is this on purpose?
Yes, it was so the Text wouldn't be hanging at that corner.
IMHO, I love both the Kamahl frames, but a combination of both would be perfect.
- The thin little frame between the black border and the art (like the one on the left) is good.
- The silver-and-black card type and expansion circles are perfect (and I agree with FPM on the mana cost blade!).
- The card name and type line sections should stay like the one on the right.
- However, I do like the P/T section on the left one (perhaps you could do a horizontal version of the P/T section from FPM's original frame? You know, with the depressed sword and shield and a | between the numbers instead of a / ?).
Overall, the right one would be perfect with just a few small changes.
Really if you were to drop the creature symbol from the Kamahl on the left, and put the mana cost there, and maybe shrink the art a smidgen to make froom for some more complex cards. I'm not sure if I am a fan of the cracking background on the text. But I think it is better than what wizards is currently using, which is the first time I think I have ever said that about a card frame.
Things I like
1.There is enough of a boarder to easily identify the color.
2. Art size large
3. Little Wasted Space.
4. It looks RED
5. Most importantly, It looks like a magic card.

I like this frame. I think the the one on the right is better, as the solid line is a bit off putting, personally. I'd like to see a flipped version of this, because I prefer the mana on the left, but... it's up to the majority I guess.
I can't explain why I like it, it just "feels" like a better border for the art box. I think its because you have the mana cost crossing it, therefore its not such a "hard" edge as the rest of the frame.
(Also, am I correct in assuming you intend to array the power/toughness vertically to the left of the textbox? I can't imagine where the copywrite/set number would go.)

Hmm... Perhaps you could extend the mana bar all the way to the bottom and make a P/T box there with the same charachteristics as the expansion box? And I'd definately go for the right version.
'Bauble' frame looks pretty good. I too prefer the right one. It just looks cleaner without the white line, though you mght want to put in a line anyway if you want to do multicolor gradients. (or do you perhaps have another solution for those?)
The expansion symbol is a bit hard to see, but that may just be a problem with this particular frame/symbol combination.

Pick either left or right, i can't decide which mana curve is better.
The left one. I'm not a fan of vertical mana sloping in general, but I think the line on the left one makes it look a bit better.
BTW, what's this frame going to look like with P/T?

And I'm not changing it. I'm not gonna be browbeated by a moderator, simply because you don't like the fact that I'm bringing to light that the staff suspends half-decent posters, while allowing trolls to run rampant.
Well, you've still got about fourteen hours before you're infracted for noncompliance. Talk to whomever you want.
I like the lack of straight lines on the angel of salvation one, the way the top opf the typline is bigger than the bottom on the baubles (though the emty box on the left of both of them and both "mana curves" are horrible IMO) and the 3d effect from the 2nd kamahl one. the P/T box on the 3rd kamahl is hideous and I'm not 2 keen on how the mana symbols are attached, I'd like to see them in the same place as they are on the kamahls but with the name box morphed into an FS style "symbol holder".
The first kamahl, phage etc. one had good text box and typeline shapes but the ghostfire/mortify/logic knot frame was creepy.
Do you have some personal vendetta against copyright notices?
I just realized that none of your frames even have room for such information lol
I noticed this too.

The bauble on the left is great. However, I'd recommend a few things:
- Do the mana cost like the Kamahl-Phage (the one on the right), right-aligned in the small frame under-and-connected-to the type icon circle.
- Thin frames on either side of the art, like the left Kamahl.
- It might just be the colors in this example, but the expansion symbol in both Baubles are almost impossible to make out. Perhaps the silver circle like the right Kamahl-Phage would be better?
- And as FPM and Buttock said, put the copyright info in there somewhere!
Its looking good, but I have a few ideas about the artifact frame.
Either one would work, it took me a while to even see a difference. However, I think the space on the left of the text box should be curved similiarly to the mana blade curve. The bottom of the card should be increased for improved copywrite information.
I think the problem of visibility has been adressed for the expansion symbol, maybe making its spot more like the other side.

granted it is a hasty job but you get my idea.
The mana cost should have something ... I am not sure of what but I do not like the floating mana that much. You are free to convince me otherwise.
I like the kamahl frames and the angel of salvation frame you recently posted, not much to say except good job. I like the p/t and mana "blades" but vertical p/t is a bad thing without symbols or colors to identify them apart...
I'm gonna have to just straight up disagree with Crysus here. Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't these templates have more art space than the current 8th edition frames? The proportions are just different, so the Reaper King has to get stretched tall-wise a bit. Also, the examples of the lands show that the text box is easily rendered see-through, given the artwork is vertical enough.
Also, there is a border on the left. It's just a single line of tubing.
I think these are the best ones yet, bar-none.
<EDIT> — I did notice you made one rookie mistake though... You used the wrong apostraphe in the flavor text on the King. Heheh...
It's not the specific font I dislike, it's because now there's a three different fonts on one card! The name, the type line and the text box. It seems messy to me. If it were my way, I'd only have one font throughout the whole card.
Good Point, but it'll take my chances. There are 3 Magic fonts, for which users that have any of the other frame .psds will already have.
Maybe I'm alone in this, but I don't like transparent text boxes. The transparent text boxes on these basic lands look okay. On cards that actually have text in their text boxes though, transparencies add unnecessary clutter that makes it harder to read the card.
Other than the transparency, this most recent frame is looking really good. The pinstripe borders might be better if they are a little wider though. And the box for the set symbol should be a little bigger.
Yes, it was so the Text wouldn't be hanging at that corner.
