Sorry if this has been asked before. I just started playing with the card creation pds templates (really cool). Using photoshop I was looking into the image size and noticed that it was really big (like take up most of the 8.5X11 big).
So I was wondering how do you print at MTG card size?
with photoshop you should be able to specify the size of the image when you print it. change it from inches to mm. a card is 63x88mm, but the template might not be exactly that. it might need some tweaking
It sounds like you may have started with an image that was initially created for the web and because of that Photoshop is assuming you want it printed at 72 dpi which would explain the large size.
You can adjust that by opening the file and clicking on Image > Image Size. Make sure the "Resample Image" box is not checked and then change the dpi to 300. You should notice the dimensions reduce down close to a normal MTG card (2.5 inches x 3.5 inches or 750 pixels x 1050 pixels).

each of my card printouts are at 747 x 1045 pixels for transparency prints and 747 x 1047 pixels to print right onto a card face.
